    Senior Internal Auditor

    Job Summary

    Provide technical support in the review of internal control systems of CITAM and carry out investigations to ensure that the assets of CITAM and its institutions are safeguarded, and that operations are carried out in an efficient and effective manner. The position reports to the Audit and Risk Manager.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Jointly with the Audit and Risk Manager, prepare the internal audit annual work plan according to the Risk Based Internal Auditing
    • Review and appraise the soundness and efficiency of all systems of internal controls, procedures and associated risks, making recommendations for improvement and periodically assessing the suitability, reliability and use of management information.
    • Execute assigned activities, coordinate and supervise auditing activities assigned to team members and consolidate timely reports, while ensuring cost effectiveness.
    • Follow up recommendations on internal audit findings and report to the Audit and Risk Manager.
    • Perform ad hoc audits or investigations as may be assigned and prepare a report to the Audit and Risk Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Be a born again mature Christian who conforms with the CITAM Statement of Faith.
    • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or any related field
    • Five (5) years relevant work experience, 2 of which MUST be in a similar position OR Three (3) years’ experience in a professional audit firm
    • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA (K) or ACCA or CIA
    • Practical Knowledge of diverse ERP’s and CAAT is required. Practical knowledge of Sage X3 will be an added advantage.
    • Qualification in CISA is an added advantage.

    Internal Audit And Risk Manager

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage staff and all activities of CITAM’s Internal Audit Department ensuring proper and professional planning, execution and reporting.
    • Prepare the Annual Audit Work Plan and ensure its full and effective implementation, and prepare the requisite internal audit reports to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board in line with the Risk Based Internal Auditing approach
    • Prepare the annual departmental budget ensuring provision of adequate resources to meet the requirements of the department.
    • Apprise management of internal audit findings, follow up on the implementation of the external auditors’ recommendations to management and report to Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board.
    • Provide consulting services and assessment of the Enterprise Risk Management framework
    • Perform adhoc audits or investigations as may be required by the Management, the Audit and Risk Management Committee or the Board
    • Ensure all activities of the department are conducted in compliance with applicable law, professional guidelines and CITAM policies.
    • Ensure the existence of an optimal and well-motivated staff who are well trained on contemporary/ emerging internal audit issues to improve their effectiveness on work performance.
    • Serve as the Secretary to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board.

    Requirements

    • Be a born again mature Christian who conforms with the CITAM Statement of Faith.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
    • Eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should be in a managerial position.
    • CPA (K)
    • Member of ICPAK and IIA, in good standing
    • Hands on Knowledge of ERP preferably Sage X3.
    • Experience working with a parachurch or a church organization are an added advantage.

    Driver

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Safely transport learners to and from school, adhering to designated routes and schedules.
    • To maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to learners, parents, and school staff.
    •  Conducting regular safety inspections and reporting any issues or concerns.
    • Communicate effectively with learners, parents and school staff regarding transportation schedules, changes or delays.
    • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations including the proper use of seat belts and other safety equipment.
    • Ensure the assigned vehicle is in proper and safe condition.
    • To liaise with the Finance & Administration Officer to make sure repairs and servicing of vehicles are carried out on time.
    • Maintain accurate daily mileage records, fuel consumption and other relevant information.

    Requirements

    • Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
    • A minimum of KCSE or post-secondary education will be an added advantage.
    • Valid PSV driving license with ABCE certification.
    • Minimum of four (4) years bus driving experience in a school setup.
    • Valid certificate of good conduct.
    • Defensive driving and basic mechanic skills will be an added advantage.
    • Good communicator.

    Sales and Marketing Executive

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are looking for a Born Again, innovative, and driven Sales and Marketing Executive to join our growing team. The individual in this role would be responsible for developing, maintaining, and increasing solid and dependable client base. The individual will identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability with the aim of helping CITAM Kadolta Resort to achieve her business goals. We are seeking a candidate who is creatively minded, business savvy and eager to think outside the box when it comes to our customers and their needs.

    The position reports to the Resort Manager.

     Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement business and marketing plans.
    • Conduct periodic market surveys to prospect and market the CITAM Kadolta Resort’s image to the public.
    • Design sales packages for the client in consultation with the Resort Manager.
    • Executing sales through the end-to-end sales process.
    • Liaise with the Resort Manager and Finance Officer regarding payment terms and debt collection.
    • Maintain close and effective contact with clients to promptly resolve concerns and maintain a healthy rapport for customer satisfaction.
    • Achieve set annual and monthly targets for hotel sales within schedule.
    • Prepare sales progress reports on customer needs, market trends, interests, competitive activities, and new business ventures.
    • Timely submission of scheduled reports.
    • Ensure adherence to ISO and other recognized standards.

    Requirements

    • Be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms with the CITAM Statement of Faith.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related course
    • Proficiency in CRM and ERP software
    • Creative and innovative, diligent, self-motivated, honest, and hard working.  
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Business savvy with an eye for new opportunities
    • At least 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry
    • Experience in driving will be an added advantage.
