    Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to participate in the safe, accurate and timely processing - scan, unload, cross dock and/or load, of in-bound and out-bound freight, to meet DHL on-time performance standards. This role is responsible for facilitating both inbound and outbound shipments.     MAJOR ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Scan freight as per Global SOP in various programs.
    • Move freight within the warehouse area as per requirements.
    • Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound and outbound material.
    • Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc
    • Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment.
    • Responding to emails and trace requests.
    • Picking, packaging and dispatching orders.
    • Counting and checking stock to ensure quality control and solving stock discrepancies.
    • Liaise with couriers related to orders and deliveries
    • Ensure the safety of themselves and others at all times.
    • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
    • Assisting with the receipt of incoming goods and container unloading.
    • Be accountable, collaborate and engage with all departments.
    • Assist in training and further development of new staff.
    • Other warehouse/retail duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor.

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on time within tight time constraints.

    Job Description

    This role manages the planning, administration, training, and enforcement of facility’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) program to ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations of our larger, more complex site. Identifies hazards and assesses risk to HSE, involving individuals to identify the appropriate safety controls, and provides guidance on accident prevention and occupational health to management and employees. May manage on-site Safety Supervisors.

    Responsibilities

    1. Promotes occupational health and safety awareness throughout assigned facility.
    2. Coach’s management on their HSE responsibilities.
    3. May conduct or oversee ongoing safety inspections of facilities, operations, and equipment to ensure compliance and safe working environment for associates.
    4. Monitors and enforces compliance to regulatory and company requirements.
    5. Manages the implementation of standard HSE support using common tools provided by the Operations Excellence HSE Team.
    6. Ensures all necessary HSE Training is completed by all site associates. This includes new hire safety training and all other on-site HSE trainings required for both hourly and management associates.
    7. Review and updates all Job Safety Analysis’ (JSA) for each role within assigned site.
    8. Facilitates incident investigations, root cause analysis for sites and provides steps for corrective action to site management and Functional Safety Team.
    9. Provides input and assist the Regional and or Campus HSE Managers with Safety Improvement Plan Implementations.
    10. Assists the Regional or Campus HSE Manager with start-ups, as necessary.
    11. Monitors and provides expertise and assistance on the Logics Incident Module.
    12. Identifies improvement opportunities and puts forth solutions/recommendations to continually support site improvement.
    13. Actively participates on assigned teams and/or projects, including site Health & Safety Committee and process improvement initiatives.
    14. Develop and facilitate safety training.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    1. HND or Bachelors degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field
    2. Equivalent experience (1-3 years of direct/dedicated safety experience), required.
    3. 1-3 years of safety experience (e.g., administration of site-based OSHA/DOT programs), required
    4. Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field, preferred

    Financial Analyst

    Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to assist management with financial and KPI oversight for service operations across DHL Facilities. This includes month-end close support and reporting, profit and loss analysis, balance sheet review, forecast, and budget review and reporting, Intercompany Billing, KPI Management, and involvement in ad hoc financial analysis to control expenses and aid in the improvement of financial performance. This position has daily interaction with operational sites and internal customers to provide financial support to operational sites and the overall business unit.

    Responsibilities

    1. Execute, review and approve remote sites month-end close.
    2. Assist with the development of monthly forecasts and annual budgets for assigned sites; review site submissions and provide feedback.
    3. Analyze the financial performance of assigned sites and explain significant variances in performance against budget and forecast.
    4. Provide Ad-hoc analysis, cost control, and profitability analysis of an operation/service, identifying and developing opportunities to decrease costs or grow revenue or profit.
    5. Assist with the training and development of site managers in financial processes.
    6. Assist with completing the monthly management reporting including the trading document, corporate consolidation reporting, new business reporting, corporate commentary, etc.
    7. Handle a broad range of Finance – some admin, but sometimes complex and non-routine requiring more background research, e.g. compliance, budget guidance.
    8. Ensure internal controls and policies are applied appropriately.
    9. Participate in ongoing decisions regarding site financial risks; provide suggestions and recommendations to Operation.
    10. Collect, Control, and Report KPIs.
    11. Support existing digital workflows, e.g. annual Service Level Agreement process, and contribute to further automation and digitalization opportunities.
    12. Work with BI Tools for Management Reporting and Data Analytics, drive further development of BI Reports.
    13. Work with different stakeholders from different functions and with different seniority, including Regional Management and Country Management Maintains financial records for compliance and audit to all agreed requirements and identifies and develops opportunities to reduce costs or grow revenue or profit.

    3. 5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
    4. 2-5 years of experience in FP&A and/or Business Controlling and/or Accounting.
    5. Strong ability to Communicate efficiently {both oral and written} in the English language to all DHL stakeholders.
