    Grocery Buyer - Jumia (Full Time)

    About The Role 

    As the Grocery buyer you will be responsible for the supply and inventory management of brands in the Grocery category. You will be working with the commercial teams to ensure correct inventory levels at all times - creating POs, matching inventory to demand and working with the supplier and Jumia services to inbound stock in a timely manner. 

    Key Responsibilities

    •  Make sure POs are raised and sent to the vendors 
    • Develop supply plans to onboard into Jumia warehouses
    • Manage delivery flows with vendors (from order to delivery)
    • Check and validate orders offered by the sales team based on sales history, seasons and upcoming campaigns
    • Monitor and analyze inventory based on key inventory management KPIs
    • Develop action plans in coordination with the sales team to optimize stocks. 

    Required  Skills and Qualifications

    •  +5years buying experience in a leading Supermarket/Ecommerce platform
    • Knowledge of stock management
    • Knowledge of Supply Chain management 
    • Proficiency in Office 365 with an advanced level in Excel
    • A strong analytical sense and reasoning ability
    • Good resistance to stress
    • Good communication skills

    Key Account Manager - On-Demand Services (Full-time)

    About The Role:

    Jumia Food is Africa’s premier online food ordering site that allows consumers to conveniently order products of their choice from their preferred restaurants, supermarkets or stores and have them delivered straight to their home / office in under 30 minutes. In your role you will be a member of our account management team and be responsible for managing relationships with a range of Jumia Food vendors. You will help develop our offering to restaurants and manage key accounts and help to grow existing businesses by leveraging your sales and relationship management skills.
    We are looking for a true relationship builder who is passionate about Jumia Food and enjoys interacting and negotiating with partners.

    • Own partner relationships, leading co-marketing efforts to drive awareness and activation, and ensure operational excellence
    • Onboard new partners on our platform by providing them all the necessary tools and information to start working
    • Improve operational efficiency of our partners by making sure we always deliver the best service to our customer
    • Be responsible for our partners business performance, analyse their main KPIs and ensure growth MoM.
    • Track and reporting of performance metrics.
    • Get feedback from our partners and translate it into product, marketing and operations improvement 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Onboard new partners on our platform and provide them with the right tools and training to get started
    •  Leverage on relationship skills to build relationships with vendors that will lead to growth Jumia On-Demand Account Manager
    • Support your porftolio of vendors with marketing efforts to drive awareness and activation and to ensure operational excellence
    • Be an advisor to partners and support them in improving their business through KPI analysis
    • Get feedback from our partners and translate it into product, marketing and operations improvements
    • Maintain good relationship between Jumia Food business lines and our partners
    • Track and reporting of performance metrics.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 3 years of experience in Account Management and/or Business Consultant, preferably in FMCG, food-hospitality or on-demand delivery industry
    • Problem solver, perfect written and spoken communication
    • Customer obsession
    • Proactive, driven, organized, and obsessed with details
