    Senior Manager Continual Service Improvement

    The Position:

    Technology Service Delivery is responsible for managing the delivery, performance, supply chain of IT services and enterprise applications to provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business objectives and customer (internal/external) expectations.

    Continual Service Improvement is a fundamental part of the bank’s strategy with an aim to ensure a continuous and sustainable delivery of world class services to internal and external customers.

    The Senior Manager Continual Service Improvement will lead a team of specialists and direct the efforts of the team to ensure that prioritization of improvement initiatives is aligned with desired impact to revenue generation, cost containment and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Setup and Management of the Continual Service Improvement program for KCB Technology Division, including the required reporting against an evolving set of KPI’s to ensure optimal utilization of efforts and resources.
    • Definition, Creation and Ownership of the Problem Management Process for KCB Technology, leading to a sustainable resolution of recurring high impact incidents.
    • Review and Analysis of all major incidents and breaches of SLA’s in respect of impact to the bank across revenue, cost and risk dimensions for the purpose of prioritization of improvement plans, both tactical and strategic.
    • Review and Analysis of Apdex scores and top user complaints from CX for critical customer facing technology in respect of impact to the bank across dimensions of Customer Effort Score (CES) and predicted customer churn for the purpose of prioritization of improvement plans, both tactical and strategic.
    • Review and Analysis of operational procedures within Development (DevOps), Transition Management, Infrastructure and Service Operations in respect of contribution to incident frequency and impact for the purpose of identifying improvement opportunities.
    • Definition of KPI’s and creation of capabilities to measure progress against KPI’s to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Continual Service Improvement function.
    • Development of the annual Continual Service Improvement plan, consisting of both strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure projected KPI targets are met.

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering from a recognized university.
    • 6 years’ experience in a similar role with at least 4 years industry experience in an organization with large digital customer base.

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for the procurement process within the procurement department. He/She will offer commercial advice, authorize contracts, purchase commitments and expenditure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Business Development Manager, Trade Finance

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Head, Trade Finance, the holder of the position will be responsible for growing the assigned trade finance client portfolio and maximizing business volumes and revenues while ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and operational controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Grow Trade Finance business volumes and revenues, and manage assigned client portfolio, from the process of deal origination, structuring and credit approval to contracting and placement while ensuring that the process is efficient.
    • Provide advisory services, as a product specialist, on trade finance solutions, transactions and services to clients, sales and credit colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Prospect for ‘new to bank’ clients in conjunction with Relationship Managers and offer innovative and customised solutions.
    • Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
    • Participate in the preparation of account plans, covering all aspects of local and international trade finance, in concert with Relationship Managers.
    • Enhance the uptake of KCB’s trade finance products and services by existing and new clients, through providing technical product expertise and conducting joint calls in partnership with relevant business units in the bank.
    • Engage Relationship Managers and provide all product support needed for timely submission of quality credit proposals involving trade finance.
    • Develop, in conjunction with the Senior Business Development Manager, implement and manage a range of innovative trade finance products and solutions so as to meet customer requirements and achieve business objectives.
    • Provide and sustain assurance that the risks associated with Structured Trade Finance transactions in the assigned portfolio remain within approved appetite and are accurately captured in client term sheets.

    Job Requirements

    Senior Manager Demand Management

    The Position: 

    The Senior Manager Demand Management will be responsible for providing governance and management of the demand pipeline from business divisions and act as a partner for the business functions to capture, structure, align and plan business demand and match this demand with the Technology supply function’s capacity. He/She will ensure consistent capturing and prioritization of the demand towards technology and regular, transparent and objective alignment and prioritization of demand.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain an up-to-date view of the delivery capacity of the technology division, taking into consideration the resource constraints across the entire chain of the technology organization ranging from business analysis, development, change management, quality assurance, project and transition management.
    • Facilitate the annual planning cycle of business initiatives through the Senior relationship managers covering Commercial and Ancillary Divisions, including the bundling of initiatives, the capture and validation of expected benefits and delivery efforts required.
    • Create a progressive delivery plan of business initiatives for the fiscal year with committed delivery timelines and associated resource plans for communication through the divisional relationship managers.
    • Manage the escalation process with GCTO and Divisional Directors, where demand outstrips supply to achieve an acceptable resolution leading to a re-prioritization of initiatives across divisions or Divisional Directors sponsoring costs for a temporary increase in resources to meet accelerated timelines.
    • Manage a team of Change Evaluation Analysts that will collate and verify data required to estimate the effort to deliver a business initiative, the resource profiles required and the expected business outcome as a basis for prioritization.
    • Develop and measure KPI’s for Demand Management and report progress against these KPI’s in a transparent manner to enable tracking the effectiveness of the Demand Management function.

    The Person:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business-related field from a recognized university.
    • Certification in ITIL Foundation or Project Management is required.

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Director Corporate Banking, the holder of the position is responsible for driving the growth of the Bank’s Trade finance business through effective leadership of a team of product specialists, an innovative best in class product suite with excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all internal controls.

    Job Requirements:

    • 8 years’ experience in structured trade finance and product management with at least over 5 years in international trade and correspondent banking
