    Research Scientist - Homa Bay

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting nutritional assessment, counselling and support for study participants as per study protocol
    • Supervising home visits for follow-up dietary assessments at household level as per the study protocol
    • Discussing with study team the nutrition and eating habits reported by participants and monitor progress

    Registered Nurse - 2 Posts

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Put in place a plan for overall efficient day-to-day community engagement with facility-based data collectors, including work plans and support supervision
    • Coordinate and support data collection of end-of-pregnancy CRFs at maternity and post-natal clinics
    • Coordinate home visits with the field workers and community health promoters to collect missing end-of-pregnancy assessment data for home deliveries.
    • Review/develop the study Case Record Forms (CRFs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring standardised methods are used.
    • Training and supervising data clerks supporting health facilities
    • Ensure facility-level recruitment is progressing as planned and to predict and plan any changes that warrant changes in recruitment strategies to meet study enrolment timelines.

    Data Clerk (Community Interviewer)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collecting accurate data from the study participants in line with the standards and guidelines set in the study protocol
    • Scheduling and preparing a work plans for phone calls, home follow-up visits and reminders for participant visits.
    • Reporting missed antimalarial adherence visits as required
    • Offering support to community health volunteers in household registration and tracking of antimalarial exposures.
    • Ensuring case reports are completed on Scanform and RedCap, and all research questions are asked during the interviews.

    Senior Research Administrator

    Key Responsibilities:

    Data Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing daily data collection at the field sites in Homa Bay County
    • Supervising verification of data, check and clean raw data as soon as it is uploaded or entered by field staff
    • Ensuring project data is securely stored in the provided repository mechanism
    • Creating and maintaining SOPs related to the management project data
    • Creating and managing data dictionaries, including updating and checking stored information related to the study, updating datasets and associated data dictionaries, as well as maintaining a record of data and variable updates (version control)

    Laboratory Technologist - DLSP

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Receiving/collecting, recording of specimens;

    Administrative Assistant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in preparation of budget on project supplies, workshops and conferences, study participants’ reimbursements and request on transport.
    • Document project vehicle mileage, track and update reports on vehicle maintenance
    • Work with the field team leads to request and make follow-up on procurement of goods and services through ERP and eRequestor. S/he must ascertain goods and services are delivered on time, with stated specification, standard and verify invoices against goods delivered.

    Administrative Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Track expenditure and prepare timely reports for submission to Project Manager, PIs, Partners and Donor.
