    Radiologist

    Age                             :   Above 30 years of age

    Salary                         :   KSHS.250,000 :   Medical Cover

     Main Purpose of the Job

    This is a mid – level management position requiring a self -driven, hands on individual with the knowledge to use medical imaging technologies to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients’ health problems

    The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following specific roles:

    • Plain film reporting, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasonography, interventional radiology and CT scan, MRI
    • Perform diagnostic, interventional image-guided procedures or therapeutic radiologic services
    • Examine and interpret medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and MRIs and use them to make a diagnosis
    • Work alongside radiologic assistants and other health professionals in administering treatment
    • Ensure proper handling of emergency cases when on duty

     Main Purpose of the Job

    Finance Manager will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of the necessary systems and controls to safeguard the facilities’ assets and maintain the integrity of its financial Management and reporting

     RESPONSIBILITY

    • Oversee preparation of financial records related to general ledger, payroll, budget, expense
    • Ensure that the financial goals are achieved through reducing costs efforts and maximizing profits.

     Main Purpose of the Job

    To manage patients requiring medical/surgical care in preventive and curative women’s medicine by being an active member of the exciting and inspiring value-led Obstetrics and Gynecology team.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    • To provide services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology care as per the duty roster or during emergencies e.g. Mass Casualty Incidents.
    • To assist the HOD to continuously improve obstetric and gynaecology services as listed but not limited to:
    • Develop and enact clinical protocols in Obstetric and Gynaecological care.
    • Champion the development and implementation of the advanced minimal access gynaecology (laparoscopic/hysteroscopic) y programme at the hospital.
    • Lead, develop and sustain a team of doctors including but not limited to medical officer interns, medical officers, senior registrars and junior consultants for the safe and efficient provision of Obstetrics and Gynaecology care for the hospital.
    • Develop and constantly improve the training curriculum for the hospital’s medical internship programme.
    • Mentoring and training the senior registrars in the department.
    • Plan and conduct training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology care for various departments in the hospital.
    • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all equipment and assets in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit.
    • Assist relevant hospital department in the marketing of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services offered by the hospital.
    • Champion to adapt novel, evidence-based therapies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the hospital.
    • Mentorship of medical officers assigned to you by the Medical Director’s Office.
    • Conduct periodic general and Obstetrics and Gynaecology health related talks to enhance healthy living for staff.

    The surgeon is responsible for the preoperative diagnosis of the patient, for performing the operation, and for providing the patient with postoperative surgical care and treatment. … During the course of an operation, the surgeon must make important decisions about the patient’s health, safety, and welfare.

     

    Activities will vary depending on area of specialisation. However, as a surgeon, you’ll typically need to:

    • Assess and examine patients to establish if an operation is necessary
    • Manage and monitor preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures, such as use of sedatives and antibiotics
    • Speak to patients and their families before surgery to go through the procedures that will be carried out with them to provide reassurance
    • Operate on patients to improve or restore functions, such as repair injuries or treat diseases
    • Follow established surgical techniques during the operation
    • Direct and coordinate the activities of other health staff within the multidisciplinary team, including junior doctors, nurses and operating department practitioners
    • Undertake ward rounds on a regular basis and take outpatients clinics – the amount of time you spend on these activities will depend on your specialism
