    Tupande Forklift Operator (Fixed - Term)

    About the Role

    • The Forklift Operator will efficiently handle materials and products to ensure storage, movement, and safety. You will adhere to safety standards, and compliance with operational guidelines to prevent disruptions and enhance service delivery. You will be part of Tupande Soko and will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This role is based in Sagana at Tupande Soko factory and is on site.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate forklifts to move materials and products around the warehouse or production area.
    • Load and unload items from trailers, pallets, and containers.
    • Transport materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.
    • Stack and unstack items in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • 1+ years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
    • Valid forklift operator certification and Valid driving license
    • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
    • A certificate or diploma in Automotive Engineering would be an added advantage, but is not required.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

    Tupande Warehouse Supervisor (Fixed - Term)

    About the Role

    • You will oversee the receiving, ripening and dispatch of raw materials and ensures that the warehouse is well managed.  You will be part of Tupande Soko and will report directly to Warehouse Manager. This role is based in Sagana at Tupande Soko factory and is on site.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of raw materials
    • Mentor warehouse staff, ensure training, adherence to safety protocols, and maintain hygienic conditions for the team and casual workers.
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
    • Implement and enforce Food Safety Management Systems
    • Analyze and resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have

    • Diploma/Degree in Food science, supply chain management, business administration or any other related course.
    • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
    • Familiarity with Food Safety Management Systems, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
    • Proficiency in warehouse inventory management software and systems
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
    • Proven managerial skills and ability to effectively supervise a team
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    • Keen attention to detail

    Tupande Boiler Technician (Fixed - Term)

    About the Role

    • The Boiler Technician will operate and maintain boiler systems that generate steam and hot water essential for processing operations. You will monitoring system performance, ensuring safety standards are met, and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues. The technician will conduct regular inspections, perform routine maintenance, and adjust settings to efficiency. Additionally, they will work with other maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is based in Sagana, Mt Kenya Region

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain the boiler systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation, including regular inspections and repairs.
    • Conduct safety tests and ensure compliance with safety standards, maintaining accurate records of operations, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Manage fuel inventory and coordinate with other departments for seamless boiler system operation.
    • Adhere to all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) requirements while proposing energy-saving improvements for the boiler process.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • At least Diploma in mechanical engineering field from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum 1+ years of experience with complex steam, water & compressed air  systems in a manufacturing setting
    • Boiler operator Certification from NITA or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Safety-conscious
