    Growth & Retention Manager

    About the Role

    This role requires a strategic individual to drive adoption of Amitruck's platform and maximize business performance. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, secure new deals and maintain long term relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategies to realize commercial opportunities in the logistics market

    About the Role

    The Sr. Agile Product Owner drives definition and development, actively managing engagement strategy, profitability, process, and satisfaction of individual users (clients, drivers, internal stakeholders) projects through all stages of development.

    Senior User Experience Designer

    About the Role

    The Senior UX Designer role is at the forefront of making this a reality. This means we're looking for bright, capable, and curious candidates with a strong understanding of UX principles, excellent design skills, experience with multi-user interface design, as well as a desire to translate evidence (whether from desk research, experiments, or analytics) into digital product features.

    From day one as a UX Designer, you will be working on exciting and impactful projects. You will work with stakeholders, engineers, designers, and researchers to develop and improve products for a rapidly growing startup. In many cases, this entails working with clients to understand and diagnose product issues, translating them into product features, identifying potential solutions, wireframing them, and then developing a design language to bring them to life.

    Responsibilities:

    Own the design process from start to finish, including: Wireframing, coordinating with the designer, working with the VP of product to consolidate and action feedback, walking internal stakeholders through mockups and or/wireframes

    • Running design workshops, usability tests or working sessions with intended end-users and relevant stakeholders to flesh out the proposed user experience and features
    • Interface with other team members (Research, product owner, Consultants) and engineering (developers) to guide the creation of the product based on the specifications;
    • Create an adaptive and scalable design system for your work so that our clients have sustainable solutions
    • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
    • Apply UX principles and design practice to identify key barriers and drivers of desired user behaviors
    • Identify clear and measurable metrics to track the success of the product

    As a senior researcher at Amitruck, you will work with product managers, designers, and product analysts to uncover, articulate, and act on user needs. You will use your knowledge of the research process to help streamline our processes and workflows for user research, and improve our use of methods and overall approach to research. Every step along the way, you will make an impact in the logistics space across Africa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Guiding and running user research projects that help to define and re-shape our product strategy (e.g. user interviews, usability studies, surveys, expert reviews, contextual field studies)
    • Creating artifacts that aim to communicate findings and translate them into actionable insights (e.g. user/customer personas and journeys, jobs to be done, stakeholder maps, service blueprints, etc.)
    • Work together with product teams to support and fuel the product development process with generative and evaluative user research
    • Coach and empower stakeholders in the user research process to improve methodology and execution in generative/qualitative user research
    • Supporting the user research team in improving baseline research operations (processes and tools) that make qualitative user research scalable and accessible across teams.
    • Design and facilitate interdisciplinary workshops that help teams understand research insights, identify opportunities, define and prioritize their product vision, ideate solutions, etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong product thinking and user-focused approach to the work
    • 4+ years work experience in a qualitative user research role in a digital product context

    As UX/UI Designer, your primary responsibility will be to design simple, elegant user-experiences, interfaces, products & services that our customers love & want to us.     User Experience Researcher

    About the Role

    The bulk of the role will be UX and Product design informed by research and user testing. We are looking for an experienced designer with strong experience in the tech-as-a-service industry, that can deliver high quality, innovative solutions, while also driving a user-centered mindset.

    You will be involved in projects that are end-customer facing (e.g. online journeys, marketing campaigns), and internal-facing projects (e.g. designing screens for operations associates who deal with drivers everyday). This will make use of your Design skill as well as your Insight & Research skills. At all times, you will be helping your colleagues keep the end-user at the forefront of whatever is being built (customer journey, new product, campaign etc) – making sure it revolves around (and meets) their needs.

    About the Role

    You will be main person responsible for all database related matters. You will maintain all current databases, architect and design new databases and migrate existing systems to cloud native solutions. You will work closely with the engineering team and the product team in order to build new systems. You will analyse the information collected and the product requirements in order to design databases that will meet the product requirements. You are expected to maintain high quality documentation of all data related matters.     About the Role

    You will manage and recruit a team of Backend and Frontend Software Engineers. As a coach and mentor, you will guide the team towards advancing Amitruck’s mission and business objectives. As a leader within the Engineering Department, you will ensure consistent practice of Amitruck’s engineering processes and standards.
