Duties and Responsibilities

• We are looking for ambitious and motivated professionals to play a key role in leading the development of a portfolio of high-potential companies across Africa. Specifically, you will :
• Participate in the selection of companies supported
• Contribute to the diagnosis and the development of a tailored action plan and curriculum for companies supported
• Contribute to the development of an effective strategy to support the growth of the companies in collaboration with the VC team
• Conduct the implementation of the plan for a portfolio of companies, in collaboration with the VC team
• Identify and develop, trainings, tools, and methodologies to accelerate companies supported
• Review and identify areas for improvement to maximize the value for our entrepreneurs
• You will get the opportunity to work in collaboration with a diverse and experienced team across different geographies and areas of expertise

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in the fields of Economics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or others related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the field of private sector and SME development, enabling environment, and entrepreneurship development.
• Experience in a strategy role for companies, preferably SMEs, or in a management role for a business unit or a fast-growing SME or start-up.
• Proven working experience with programs promoting entrepreneurship and SME development, and private sector development projects.
• Good understanding of entrepreneurship and private sector development context and strategic framework.
• Professional or extra-professional experience on the African continent/knowledge of the realities of the continent.
• Versatility and strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and French.

• We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Investment Vehicles Value Creation.
• This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful entrepreneurship development initiatives in Africa, working with a dynamic team and diverse partners.
• The ideal candidate will bring a passion for economic development, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment:
• Drive the provision of TA to IVs, ensuring high-quality and scalable support
• ldentify and manage relationships with BDSPs to provide specific services to IVs as required
• Take a leading role in managing the relationship between l&P and the IVs, becoming the go-to contact for all IV capacity building matters
• Oversee a portion of the VC team and contribute to its overall leadership and direction Etc.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in capital investment, venture capital, or financial advisory
• Entrepreneurial mindset (e.g., having participated in setting up an investment fund)
• Proven experience in managing value creation for an investment fund (such as leading a TA facility)
• Expertise in strategic and operational financial analysis
• Experience in contributing to due diligence processes (for SM Es and/or funds)
• Strong relationship management skills, particularly with high-level stakeholders
• Fluency in English / French
