    Seed Receiving Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Personally, make health and safety a priority ensuring compliance with all health, safety instructions, comply with the policies, procedures of the Company and Work in a safe and orderly manner.
    • Receiving and coordinating the incoming seeds, storage and dispatch of seeds in a timely and efficient manner.
    • To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management which include space allocation and stock transfer by Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of seeds.
    • Working closely with the Purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels (Coordinating inventory levels.)
    • Checking and inspecting seeds received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality.
    • Ensure all the property and equipment used is maintained and not recklessly damaged.
    • Ensuring the supply of seeds to the production facilities is both accurate and on time.
    • Responsible for providing team with the appropriate training, development and ensuring consistent roll out of plant policies and procedures.
    • Maintain positive employee relations, open communications while resolving employee discipline or performance issues. Maintain professional relationships with other departments within the plant.
    • Prepare paperwork and reports on a timely basis.
    • Identify, recommend, develop and implement improvements in safety, quality, processes, costs and SOP documentation.
    • Follow all sanitation, GMP, safety, quality and employee relation programs
    • Confirm processes are run in accordance with SOP’s, SOPP’s and other documentation.
    • Drive LEAN activities to improve performance. Ensure all seeds are handled within GMP and FIFO guidelines.

     Qualifications and Experience

    • BSC in Logistics / Supply Chain – Preferred or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related industrial work experience.
    • Fluent knowledge of English
    • 2 years supervisory experience in vegetable oil extraction plant.
    • Management skills basic courses (preferred)
    • Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred)
    • Proficiency in SAP, MRP 3 years progressive experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. 

    Required competencies

    • Warehousing management, inventory control, ERP knowledge

    Key Machine Operator

    Responsibilities

    • leading a team
    • Follow standard operating procedures for safe start up and shutdown of oil extraction machines.
    • Ensure pre-start up, start up, operational and shut down checklists are completed before plant operations commence
    • Ensure cleanliness of the working area.
    • Maintains various operational records and logs and produces operational reports.
    • Oversees the flow of information and reports, coordinates actions when necessary, and ensures response plans are followed during emergencies and natural disasters.
    • Interfaces closely with the operations In-charge and maintenance to ensure key operational matters are performed, communicated and documented.
    • Maintains a log of operations to reflect any/all system concerns, and operational actions taken.
    • Follows standard procedures and switching orders in accordance with standard operating and safe switching practices.
    • Ensure smooth transition of position during shift operations.
    • Complies with all HSE safety regulations and adheres to proper codes and standards with a thorough understanding of safety procedures related to Electrical Systems.

     Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in Electrical or mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related work experience
    • Fluent knowledge of English
    • 2 years operator experience in vegetable oil extraction plant.
    • Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred)
    • Experience with troubleshooting of plant upsets and taking corrective action.
    • Experience with shift report writing
    • Experience with filling appropriate plant operation log sheets.

    Agriculture Development Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Support the manager in defining the environmental and geo-pedological characteristics for the development of vegetable oil production initiatives (bio feedstock).
    • Support the analysis of local agricultural contexts in the country and agricultural production systems in rural areas.
    • Support in the identification and implementation of the most appropriate intervention models for vertical integration projects in bio feedstock chains.
    • Support other company initiatives (environmental awareness, communications campaigns, local content, etc.) which contribute to agriculture development as requested. 
    • Stakeholder relations skills, with particular reference to local communities.
    • General Management tasks.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Candidate should have degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Engineering or Natural Sciences. or the relevant qualifications or any other relevant field.
    • Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role or field.
    • Experience in agricultural and agroforestry development projects, analysis of existing supply chains and production potential of agricultural biomass also for industrial use.
    • Ability to design and manage large-scale agricultural and agroforestry interventions.
    • Knowledge of agricultural and agro-forestry production systems, with particular reference to contract farming mechanisms and/or agro-industrial initiatives
    • Knowledge of certification processes regarding production traceability, sustainability, calculation of GHG emissions
    • Interpersonal skills, teamworking and management coordination.
    • Candidate needs to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Candidate should have a network of relevant contacts to assist in job performance.

    Control Room Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Under minimal supervision, monitors electrical transmission and distribution system as well as the entire Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)system for proper oil extraction operation.
    • Follow standard operating procedures for safe start up and shutdown of oil extraction plant.
    • Ensure pre-start up, start up, operational and shut down checklists are completed before plant operations commence
    • Utilize SCADA data to co-ordinate field fault diagnostics and manual operations.
    • Ensure cleanliness of the working area
    • Answers emergency trouble calls and other types of after-hours phone-calls and determines appropriate actions.
    • Recalls on–call maintenance team to facilitate repairs on emergency trouble calls occurring outside of normal working hours, weekends, or holidays
    • Maintains various operational records and logs and produces operational reports.
    • Oversees the flow of information and reports, coordinates actions when necessary, and ensures response plans are followed during emergencies and natural disasters.
    • Interfaces closely with the operations In-charge and maintenance to ensure key operational matters are performed, communicated and documented.
    • Monitors and oversees the primary electrical system, using SCADA, receives system alarms to locates trouble areas.
    • Maintains a log of operations to reflect any/all system concerns, and operational actions taken.
    • Identifies SCADA operational malfunctions, request corrective actions, and reports uncorrected malfunctions.
    • Follows standard procedures and switching orders in accordance with standard operating and safe switching practices.
    • Ensure smooth transition of position during shift operations. Using drawings, traces and determines facilities affected by outages, and then notifies the shift in-charge.
    • Complies with all HSE safety regulations and adheres to proper codes and standards with a thorough understanding of safety procedures related to Electrical Systems.
    • Handle any other duties assigned by management from time to time

    Qualifications and Experience
