    ICT Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Formulate and implement the business ICT strategies that are aligned to support corporate goals and objectives.
    • Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the ICT department.
    • Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the company as a member of the senior management team.
    • Identifying and driving opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems.
    • Ensure implementation of appropriate digital & information governance systems which conform to legal and regulatory requirements and fit within the wider governance structure of the company.
    • Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
    • Direct development and execution of the company’s ICT disaster recovery and continuity plan; ensure that disaster recovery plans are in place for all digital services and that these are routinely tested, weaknesses identified, and appropriate improvement plans developed and implemented.
    • Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
    • Develop, implement and maintain customer service platforms to achieve effective service delivery.
    • Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all software and hardware purchased for the company and ensure all acquisition and maintenance contracts are favourable to the company.
    • Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
    • Champion information behavioral changes and digitization across the company so that data and information is valued, owned, appropriately managed, quality improved and better exploited in a timelier manner.
    • Oversee monitoring and tracking of individual and department performance against established productivity and quality metrics.
    • Enhance the technical expertise of staff and ensure there is systematic and adequate on-the-job training.
    • Keep updated with trends, changes and best practices.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or any IT related field.
    • A Master’s degree in a Business-related field is an added advantage.
    • Professional certification in ICT fields (Cisco, CISM, CISA, or similar certification) will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • At least 8 years' experience with not less than 3 years in a senior management position in a wide area network with recent responsibilities in IT infrastructure development.
    • Experience in the design, implementation and commissioning of ERP systems will be a plus.
    • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for all aspects of IT through progressive involvement in the application of ICT to business processes.
    • Creates customer-focused transformation projects and develops customer-centric products.
    • Learns from a large network of friends, associates and mentors.
    • Focuses on the ‘why’ of technology.
    • Builds high-achieving cross-functional teams.
    • Proven ability to quickly grasp business risks and make sound decisions.
    • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to ICT.

    Claims Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To be the single point of contact for the company on claims and manage the claims resolution process.
    • Oversee the intake and processing of insurance claims for all classes of business loss based on coverage, appraisal and verifiable damage.
    • Determining and delegating claims settlement authorization within the company
    • Provide technical guidance to staff on claim investigation, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims.
    • Conduct audits of the claims process with a view to improving efficiency and participant experience.
    • Completes field re-inspections of vendor or employee claims to ensure proper claim handling and compliance with company procedures.
    • Assists in the coordination of third-party service providers in all claims processes.
    • Participates in training and/or mentoring of departmental staff
    • Develops, analyzes and reports KPIs useful in measuring team performance as well as the effectiveness of the claim’s operations.
    • To maintain a verifiable claims register.
    • Coaching and mentoring Claims team members to improve participant experience and practices for claim quality assurance.
    • Report to CEO on service standards and compliance requirements with IRA
    • Review complex claims cases with a view of resolving them amicably.

    Management Responsibilities

    • To be responsible for the set-up, management, and coordination of the claims department.
    • Supervise & review the performance of the Claims Department and other administrative matters within the department.
    • To be responsible for the coordination of outsourced specialists.  
    • To report to the CEO and the Board on claims management performance.
    • Participate in the review of SLA agreements with 3rd Party providers.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any business-related field.
    • Excellent reporting skills.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of Six (6) years of work experience
    • 3 years of working experience in a similar role.

    Security & Compliance Supervisor

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Security Responsibilities

    • Respond to all aspects of emergency responses to provide assistance to employees and customers and where necessary act as the command and control for the incident.
    • Conduct daily / weekly / monthly checks for all safety and security equipment.
    • Train store employees on the application of emergency procedures in crisis situations as per the guidelines.

    Policies and Procedures

    • Implement the safety and security policies and procedures in the store.
    • Enforce security/safety policies and ensure that security officers' post instructions are followed, established patrols are completed, and adequate reports and logs are filed daily and weekly as per the company policies.
    • Maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning shoplifters' handling, searches and seizures, and the preservation of evidence.

    Investigations

    • Identify potential safety and security risks and report to management.
    • Support investigations on cases such as employee theft, breach of ethics, corruption and violations of the company policies, procedures and code of conduct.
    • Identify theft trends within the assigned store, enforce theft handling procedures and improve the theft-catching rate of employees and customers.
    • Perform routine monitoring and review the video surveillance footage to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures during the day.
    • Participate in Loss Committee meetings and ensure action plans are prepared and implemented to reduce shrinkage.

    Reporting

    • Document any reports related to risk within the store.
    • Communicate with the store manager daily and weekly regarding safety & security issues/changes that need to be implemented.

    Human Capital Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
    • Apply and follow the company’s corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.

    DEFINITION OF SUCCESS

    • Resolved/apprehended criminal cases.
    • Reduced physical shrinkage.
    • Maintenance of security assets.

    COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, AND SKILLS

    Education Qualification:

    • Bachelors’ Degree in Criminology, Security Management, Military Studies, Law Enforcement or any closely related field.

    Minimum Required Experience:

    • 2+ years of related experience
    • Retail industry working experience is an added advantage.
