Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring continuous attainment of the assigned business units revenue targets by securing new customers, maintaining and developing existing accounts.
(Two positions are available for Siginon Global Logitics, Nairobi and Siginon CFS,Mombasa).

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver agreed revenue and objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, and achieve KPIs as per set targets.
2. Conduct and deliver sales pipelines.
3. Identify potential customers and relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
4. Negotiate with customers as per price guidelines applicable to the business units.
5. Maintain records of customer details / sales visits and keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
6. Build and maintaining relationships with customers through regular contacts and visits by adhering to the call program on all assigned and prospect customers
7. Conduct business reviews to ensure customers are satisfied with Siginon products and services
8. Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations teams on the execution of customer service contracts.
9. Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
10. Provide weekly and monthly reports, data, research and market intelligence to the Sales Manager, highlighting business performance, competitive landscape and recommendations
11. Track progress against revenue targets and provide weekly and monthly progress reports.

Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience

1. Degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent.
2. Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
3. 3 years’ sales experience in Freight and Logistics is amust requirement.
4. Proven track record of good performance in Sales.

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor/s, the job holder/s will be responsible for inspecting, assembling electrical components and performing repairs on heavy commercial vehicles /trucks.

Responsibilities:

1. Repair or replace worn and faulty electrical parts.
2. Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures.
3. Install electrical equipment, components, and systems.
4. Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
5. Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
6. Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
7. Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to vehicle users.
8. Examine trucks systems and oversee diagnostic tests to determine truck functionality problems.
9. Test and repair truck electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.
10. Regularly meet with truck drivers to better understand their concerns and identify the issue affecting their trucks.
11. Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced electrical parts or assemblies, by use of various instruments to make sure they are working properly and put them back into the vehicles.
12. Performs specific administrative tasks associated with the updating and maintaining of records related to the operations of the mechanical workshop.

Education, Professional Qualifications & Work Experience

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or at least Trade test 2 and above.
2. 3 years’ work experience repairing Heavy Commercial Vehicles is a must requirement.
3. KCSE Certificate C-.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular maintenance on company trucks.
2. Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
3. Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
4. Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
5. Assemble all mechanical components according to specifications.
6. Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to vehicle users.
7. Examine trucks systems and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
8. Regularly meet with truck drivers to better understand their concerns and identify the issue affecting their trucks.
9. Perform vehicle assessments and alert the workshop supervisor and the Transport Manager on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.
10. Performs specific administrative tasks associated with the updating and maintaining of records related to the operations of the mechanical workshop.
11. Engineering and Technical

Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or at least Trade test 2 and above.
2. 3 years’ work experience repairing Heavy Commercial Vehicles is a must requirement.
3. Auto electrician experience will be an added advantage.
4. Ability to carry out electronic diagnosis on Mercedes Benz and Man trucks will be an added advantage.
5. KCSE Certificate C-.
