    Production Manager (Flower & Plant Industry)

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and follow up on the production budget (including investments, amount of FTE, maintenance etc.).
    • Production reporting (daily report, monthly update on waste, OEE, CTP, RFT etc.).
    • Report on incidents and take action for improvement
    • Manage production planning for the factory (including midterm capacity management of both operators and machines), ensure deadlines are met.
    • Prioritize and escalate in case of issues
    • QESH in production (safety and compliance)
    • Improve efficiency and reduce waste through lean manufacturing and other methodologies.
    • Supervise and train production staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
    • Address production issues, equipment failures, and workflow bottlenecks.

    Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management
    • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are a plus
    • Leadership & team management
    • Strong organizational & problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes & industry standards
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Familiarity with ERP systems & production software

    Import & Export Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle all import and export activities in and out of Kenya, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and smooth logistics operations.
    • Accurately calculate and prepare landed cost estimates before importing any goods, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality.
    • Monitor stock levels consistently and plan ahead to ensure timely procurement of materials, preventing stockouts and delays in operations.
    • Work closely with the storekeepers to track and manage a wide range of inventory items (both small and large) across various categories.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, compare prices, and source products to meet operational needs.
    • Prepare and file purchase orders accordingly, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Input and update data into the ERP system to keep records accurate and up-to-date.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in a related field
    • Proven experience in import/export management
    • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping processes, and logistics.
    • Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and track landed costs.
    • Experience in stock monitoring, planning, and inventory management.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems for data entry and order management.
