    Sales Executives

    Reference Number: OC/2022/056.

    Overall Job Purpose: 

    The Job holder focus on the selling of vehicles to customers. He/She shall be responsible for Sales & Marketing of Tata Brand in respective area – Nairobi / Kisumu.

    Reports To: Team Leader / Branch Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maps markets and identifies customers/ segments for Tata Brand.
    • Develops corporate and retail customers; monitors key activities leading to overall increase in customer satisfaction index in TATA Brand.
    • Develops and executes promotional requirements for TATA Brand.
    • Creates Tata brand awareness in the market of jurisdiction.
    • Follow up customers through mails and phone contacts to achieve set sales targets
    • Penetrates new markets and business opportunities for the brand.
    • Provides market intelligence to the Line Manager and closes deals in the earliest possible time.
    • Ensures customer satisfaction and comfort with the product.
    • Attends trade exhibitions, conferences and submits reports in a timely manner.
    • Any other duties assigned from time to time.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience.

    • 5 + years’ relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
    • Degree in Sales and Marketing/Relevant Field.
    • Understanding of Auto Industry business is essential.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. IT literate.
    • Customer focused and team player.
    • Proof of previous sales success desirable.
    • Driving skills with a valid driver’s license

    Team Leader – Sales

    Reference Number: OC/2022/057

    Overall Job Purpose: 

    The Job holder focus on the selling of vehicles to customers. Works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. He/She will work to find new sales leads through business directories, client referrals, road shows, demonstration sessions, etc. He/She should have an advance knowledge of sales techniques and market trends to be a trusted advisor to their customer base. The job holder will also manage a sales team.

    Reports To: Head – Sales & Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
    • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the product specifications and applications according to customer requirements.
    • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
    • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
    • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
    • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Be a trusted advisor to the customer base built up over years.
    • Manage a sales team.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • 7 + years’ relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
    • Degree in Sales and Marketing/ Relevant Field.
    • Customer Care Skills
    • Proven track record in marketing and sales
    • Qualification in marketing/sales.
    • Experience in Managing a Team.

    Branch Manager

    Reference Number: OC/2022/058

    Overall Job Purpose: 

    Managing and overseeing branch staff, supervising branch operations, and ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis. Lead team to drive business performance through acquisition, coaching, business development and retention of customer relationships. Manage the sales culture through all levels to meet and exceed established sales and revenue goals.

    Reports To: head – Sales & Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Organizing and executing training programs for branch personnel
    • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed
    • Recognizing employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment
    • Developing and implementing sales plans
    • Conducting regular sales and operations meetings
    • Briefing employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information
    • Organizing marketing activities and events for the branch
    • Increasing brand awareness for the company within the community
    • Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
    • Resolving customer problems as needed
    • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the company within the country.
    • Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
    • Drafting forecasts and business plans
    • Managing budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives
    • Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, or achieve goals
    • Adhering to high ethical and professional standards
    • Achievement of sales target for the month.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • 8 + years’ relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management or a Related Field or the Equivalent
