    Human Resource Manager

    We invite you to be part of our team by submitting your application to the following role based in  Nairobi. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Recruitment, Mobilization and induction of new employees, Terminations and resignations, P romotions and transfers
    • Salary, compensation and benefits (comparison including research)
    • Performance issues, Staff welfare and counselling, solve conflicts
    • Advise unit heads on HR issues and local laws
    • Organizing staff events (annual party, team building etc)
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory. ● Partners with legal department and as needed/required.
    • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, coun selling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Work closely with other managers and assist in achieving the company’s strategic goals ● Management events and meetings
    • overseeing day to day office activities
    • Initiate and implement, in consultation with the Managing Director, Finance and Administrati on, activities that benefit the company and staff in terms of culture, working environment, sta ff relations and job skills among others. 

    Qualifications 

    • University degree in HR
    • Higher Diploma in Human Resources and or CHRPK
    • Membership in IHRM
    • 5 and above years solid corporate company experience
    • Good knowledge of “Best Practices” in HR Delivery.
    • Must have sound change management skills – problem solving, innovation, process improve ment, influence, consultation, Conflict resolution, communication and leadership. ● Leadership: An experienced team leader
    • Influencing, leading and delegating abilities
    • Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
    • Planning and organizing – Organizational abilities

    Sourcing officer

    If you have patience, get a sense of satisfaction from resolving issues, and have experience working with external vendors/suppliers, then this could be a great opportunity for you! 

    We are looking for a Sourcing Officer to support the Electronics and Home Appliances categories. You will be responsible for sourcing missing brands identified on the platform. 

    You will also identify profitable business opportunities and secure sound business deals.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Driving business category sourcing strategies and cost initiatives to meet business goals
    • Developing and managing top Brands and Suppliers 
    • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with existing suppliers and customers.
    • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning. 
    • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities. 
    • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approachtopursue new business opportunities. 
    • Meeting with potential suppliers to present company offerings and negotiate business deals
    • Ensure clients have positive experience by communicating effectively pre and post deal process 9. Prepare and submit proposals to vendors and negotiation of prices in preparation of campaigns 

    Required Skills and Competencies: 

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any related course. 
    • Relevant experience in purchasing and resource development is preferred ∙
    • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starter 
    • Proactive and a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently ∙
    • Organized with an ability to work under pressure 
    • A proven record of effectively working and negotiating with Suppliers/Vendors ∙
    • Stakeholder and relationship management skills. 
    • Data analysis skills
    • Creative, analytical, able to find simple solutions to complex problems
    • ∙ Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
