Job Purpose Statement

Enterprise Data Management ("EDM”) is a process that seeks to ensure Data in NCBA Group PLC is accurate and consistent to meet the strategic and business goals. "EDM" has eight key capabilities 

• Data Architecture (DA);
• Data retention & archiving (DRA); iii) Data quality management (DQM); iv) Metadata management ("MM");
• Master data Management (MDM); Data privacy & security (DPS)
• Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) and viii) Data governance.
• This role will drive management of the Master Data strategy that brings together the fundamental business data building blocks that are shared across multiple business transactions, e.g. T-24 captures and generates data becomes a I MDM asset', that is used in other systems such as customer management system (CRM), SAP -Bl regulatory reporting. This role owns and delivers on the Master Data & Data Quality Management strategy and reports into the Chief Data Officer, CDO.

The Data Quality Lead is a senior management role tasked with providing leadership and overseeing the following administrative and operational functions within the data management office and group:

• Master Data Management: this function is responsible for Master data management (MDM), a process and technology-enabled discipline in which business and IT work together to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency and accountability of the enterprise's official shared master data assets.
• Data Quality Management: is the capability to appropriately design data quality requirements across the business data domains, diagnose data quality issues, correct them and monitor the solution effectiveness. At its core, the role involves supporting the CDO and other team leaders in implementing the Enterprise Data Management Framework in regards to Master Data & Data Quality Strategies, drive strategic performance in order to achieve strategic results that is, Data is seen as a Strategic Asset at NCBA Group PLC and creates sustainable stakeholder value

Ideal Job Specifications

Academic:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Finance & Banking MIS, or Information Management, operations management
• Masters or diploma in data management/data science, will be an added advantage

Professional:

• Hands on experience in Database Development and scripting, with expert level skills in writing SQL queries.
• Hands on experience in developing ETL packages using Oracle DI, SQL Server Integration Services, SAP Data Services
• Deep understanding of industry standard formats and protocols (XML/XPath/XQuery and JSON)
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
• A good knowledge of the information requirements and standard reporting within Financial Services industry

Desired work experience:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in IT systems development within a large, digitized organization designing, implementing and managing mission critical systems, with at least 5 of those years within BI development and/or support.

Job Purpose Statement

The SAP ERP Business Analyst will provide support and analysis from the SAP system to the business. This includes day to day hands on analysis, design, and configuration, testing, and training activities for SAP system. He/she should have the experience working with business users/owners to collect requirements, translate those requirements to SAP configuration, recommend best practice, and provide input to optimize the functionalities usage from the system. This role will work across functional groups, collaborate with others in the company, provide leadership from the technical perspective for projects, and work closely with Business Functions, vendors and consultants to manage the technical aspect for the enhancements of the system. This position will also work closely with multiple departments to maintain SAP ERP compliance.

Ideal Person Specifications

Academic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Information Technology from a recognized University (min – 2nd class upper or equivalent).

Professional training:

• SAP ECC Certification

Desired work experience:

• A minimum of 5 years working experience in technology function in relation to SAP ERP Support – HCM, MM, FICO
• Knowledge of SAP Net Weaver Portal, SAP Web Dynpro, Java Web Dynpro, Access permissions, Workflow and password control solutions
• Knowledge or Support experience within following disciplines is also beneficial: - SAP ECC6 (other modules) &SAP Solution Manager.

Job Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager, Bank Applications’ role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s enterprise applications which include, IBPS, Treasury and brokerage, Loan Origination and Collection, Investment Banking and Bancassurance Systems. The role also requires oversight of the product development implementations within the bank in relation to the mentioned systems. In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Senior Manager, Bank Applications’ will schedule and direct activities to resolve enterprise applications software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion according to agreed SLA.

Ideal Job Specifications

• University degree in computer science. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
• ITIL Intermediate and other relevant professional qualifications in ICT field.
• Project Management Certification: PMI or Prince 2 will be an added advantage
• Five to Six years’ experience in Application support in medium to large organizations.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with a hands-on role in implementing and supporting Enterprise Applications e.g. Calypso, APX/MOXY, IPEN, Newgen IBPS
• Three years in a supervisory role.

Job Purpose Statement

The purpose of this role is provide day to day support, work on deployment, customization and integration of all CRM Services, SharePoint and web development whilst driving ongoing improvements. He / She will also be responsible for ensuring they follow best practices and driving continuous service improvement and productivity initiatives around the CRM application and related services

Ideal Job Specifications

• Experience of working in the IT function within a banking environment will be an advantage.
• Experienced with platform architectures (e.g. client-server, n-tier, thin client)
• Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes
• Demonstrated proficiency in using the either the CRM SDK or plugin platforms.
