Reporting to the Big Data & CVM Tech Delivery Lead, the position holder will be responsible for providing leadership for support and maintenance of the CVM platform and ecosystem. This role will be responsible for monitoring the CVM ecosystem to ensure availability.

Key Accountabilities:

• Act as single point of contact for all operational issues. Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the CVM platforms.
• Resolution of Incidents, providing RCA and recommendations to improve SLA.
• Responsible for ensuring availability of CVM Platform.
• Responsible for ensuring reliable integrations with CVM.
• Responsible for ensuring quality of KPIs in the CVM data Mart.
• Prepare SIT test cases based on the campaign design requirements.
• Setup of operational procedures to support live operations.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Lead implementation of the Business Continuity Plan & testing.
• Development of reports for performance monitoring. Measurement of MTTR, Incidents, RCAs.
• Ensuring BCP (Business Continuity Plans) are in place and regularly evaluated.
• Evaluation of deployed solutions to ensure that they meet performance standards.

Job Qualifications:

• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2-3 years of coding experience.
• Experience in at least 1 programming language - Java, C#, Python, Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS, GCP, Azure.

Reporting to the Big Data & CVM Tech Delivery Lead, the position holder will be required to design, build, and support the CVM platform. This role will be responsible for technical delivery CVM platforms which drive customer engagement.

Key Accountabilities:

• Build capabilities of CVM Platform through Systems integration and development.
• Configure integration with external API through REST, SOAP, Kafka.
• Develop CVM data mart. Build ETL jobs to extract and load data into CVM Data mart.
• Develop analytics around CVM Campaigns.
• Conduct architectural reviews of CVM ecosystem and ensure that design is best in class.
• Conduct business analysis to define user requirements for CVM campaigns and translate them into a technical solution.
• Prepare SIT test cases based on the campaign design requirements.
• Collaboration with colleagues to implement technical designs.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Brief Description

Reporting to the Data Infrastructure Chapter lead, the position holder will be responsible for the planning, design, implementation of Big Data platform infrastructure including servers, storage, server networking, backups, and public Cloud (AWS).

Responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Design, build, and troubleshooting data storage, RAID, disk volume management, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Allocation of servers and computing resources to Data Engineers, Machine Learning operations Engineers, and other approved users.
• Active participation in the section to enable team meet sectional and departmental Goals and objectives.
• Have a full understanding of the defined performance indicators, assigned tasks, and objectives set.
• Monitoring capacity threshold to ensure proactive upgrades are done to meet growing needs.  
• Reliability of planned design to achieve accurate, timely and economical delivery 
• Liaison with  implementation and support teams to ensure rollout follows the design and meets both the business and engineering specifications 
• Ensure vendor solutions are compliant to relevant standards or best practices.

Documentation and process: 

• Ensuring accurate, up-to date database documentation of On-Prem server footprint and public cloud infrastructure.  
• Adhere to the existing processes in workflow management. 
• Process review and recommendation on process improvement

Preparation of infrastructure projects, POC bid /RFQ documents and Evaluations. 

• Learn/research on new technologies/practices in the public cloud and infrastructure domain.
• Running of POCs and subsequent recommendations for approval
• Development of design principles to guide future deployment

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc /B-Tech in computer Science/Electrical and communication/ Telecoms, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At Least 5 years’ experience as cloud engineer, Systems administrator, Network administrator or analyst in a multifaceted business environment with integrated/mixed windows and major UNIX/Linux server environment.
• Above 5 years’ experience in a busy IT or Telecommunications environment –Involved in Strategy Modeling, Planning, Design and Optimization of compute and storage infrastructure
• AWS Cloud knowledge and deployment models.
• Experience in working with Bigdata systems such as Hadoop, NiFi, Kafka, Airflow
• Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, BDD and TDD.
• Strong data analytical skills, analytical thinking, attention to details and ability to identify solutions to complex problems.
• Great Stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrate excellent Planning and organizing skills
• Team spirit and good communication abilities
• Proven Track record in delivering results
• Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication and leadership skills
• Certification in any of the following Systems and Network or related trainings is an added advantage
