    Network Officer

    Main Duties:

    •  Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
    •  The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
    •  Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
    •  Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
    •  Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
    •  The support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
    •  Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects.
    •  Upgrading data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases
    •  Configuration of routing and switching equipment.
    •  Configuration of hosted IP voice services.
    •  Basic configuration of firewalls.
    •  Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
    •  Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
    •  Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.
    •  Support and administer third-party applications.

    Minimum qualification and experience required:

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent (with an MSC in IT or its equivalent)
    • CCNA, CCNP certification
    • Cloud engineering is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of three (3) years skilled experience in the maintenance, repair, and operation of technology-related equipment.
    • Experience in infrastructure/network environment.
    • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
    • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
    • Experience in Banking industry will be an added advantage.

    Digital Channels Officer

    Main Duties:

    •  Digital channels uptime management on mobile banking, ATMs Open Banking, and others.
    •  Support issues resolution and systems troubleshooting.
    •  Uptime management and monitoring of systems and transactions.
    •  Configuration of channels for optimal performance
    •  Digital channels systems installations, administration, and upgrades.
    •  Manage all channels integration points on middleware and core banking system.
    •  Identification, assessment, and implementation of products on alternative channels to expand the organization's reach and improve customer interactions, this includes Mobile, Internet banking, ATMs and Open Banking.
    •  Technology Integration; ensure seamless integration of digital channels across all supporting technologies such as databases, middleware, and core banking.
    •  Manage multiple Apps, administration of integration technologies, application servers and web application servers.
    •  Collaborate with the IT and technology teams to ensure smooth integration of alternative channels with existing systems and infrastructure.
    •  Monitor digital channels performance and identify areas for optimization to support business needs.
    •  Continuously review customer feedback and develop strategies to improve customer Experience.
    •  Channel Performance Analysis: Analyze data and performance metrics of alternative channels to measure their effectiveness.
    •  Ensure that all alternative channels comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data protection policies. Implement necessary controls and measures to mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
    •  Support third party applications interfacing with digital channels.

    Minimum qualification and experience required:

    •  Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent (with an MSC in IT or its equivalent)
    •  ITIL certification
    •  API Management is an added advantage.
    •  A minimum of three (3) years skilled experience in management of digital channels.
    •  Experience in systems support and troubleshooting.
    •  Hands-on experience with software installations, administration, and upgrade.
    •  Experience with security controls on software systems.
    •  Experience in banking industry a plus.

    Manager – Core Banking Systems & Channels

    Main Duties:

    •  Ensure service availability on CBS and all integrating systems such as alternate channels.
    •  Undertake the administration and maintenance of CBS and integrated channels.
    •  Ensure accuracy, accountability, and delivery of all CBS changes, updates, upgrades, and patches.
    •  Offer technical assistance and guidance in projects, upgrades, customizations, and digital business initiatives.
    •  Oversee the system integration into the core banking system and day to day operational running of integrated channels.
    •  Prepare, deploy and maintain various T24 environments.
    •  Analyze CBS problems and implement innovative fixes, monitoring, tuning and performance optimization.
    •  To develop new processes and modify existing T24 functions to meet business requirements.
    •  To develop applications on T24 Core Banking system that interface with other applications.
    •  Use of jbase/java to develop or to interface with T24 applications.
    •  Recommend improvements to existing T24 technical and business processes to meet the Bank’s requirements.
    •  Work closely with IT Security to ensure that applications are well secured.
    •  Work closely with testing/project teams to ensure solutions developed are defect free and meet business requirements.
    •  Ensure the integrity of T24 environments.
    •  Support a 24/7 T24 environment and resolves business and IT incidents with innovative solutions to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
    •  Identify emerging user needs and plan for new systems features or changes to meet business requirements.
    •  Evaluate CBS capabilities and technologies for their potential application to business processes.

    Minimum qualification and experience required:

    •  A bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is required.
    •  At least five (5) years’ experience in core banking applications.
    •  Demonstrated in depth Java development experience.
    •  Demonstrated in depth T24/JBASE development experience.
    •  Certification in programming.
    •  Demonstrated experience in integration and middleware systems.
    •  Team player and attention to detail.
    •  Expertise in enterprise server operating systems and applications such as: Linux, Redhat, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Web Services, Java, Python, JBASIC
