    HR Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
    • Work closely with the top management to strategize, build, customize, and refine tools to facilitate process workflows and/or provide guidance and direction to staff.
    • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
    • Develop an excellent organizational culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with the organization's objectives, core values, and principles, and promote a sense of pride purpose, and belonging.
    • Promote a culture of excellence within the organization.
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
    • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations.
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 8+ years of progressive human resources experience in a medium to a large organization with experience leading teams and assessing human resources services
    • A minimum of 5 years in the role of a HR manager
    • Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources, Education, Social Science, or related field preferred
    • Practicing License is a must.
    • Demonstrated success in HR systems and HR policy/practice.
    • Experience with workpay will be an added advantage
    • Experience with negotiation and influencing at senior management levels.
    • A leadership style that will incite enthusiasm, provide vision, create positive morale, and act as a role model for standards of professionalism.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to support a diverse associate population as well as the growth of the company.
    • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • Ability and willingness to develop presentations as required.
    • A track record of effective human resources decision-making and an "urgency to execute" attitude is essential for this fast-paced environment.

    HR Administrator

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure accuracy in HR files and documents.
    • Manage the training calendar and ensure trainings are on schedule.
    • Manage the employee scheduling for the coming week and upload to workpay.
    • Overtime Scheduling, Management, and weekly shift planning
    • Improve HR policy manual during the annual review process.
    • Recruitment & Selection; job posting, ATS Management, shortlisting.
    • Timely management of orientation and probation periods.
    • HR Data Management - Contracts, manage employee data.
    • Manage the employees on PIP's and regular meeting setup and minutes.
    • Daily Attendance Dashboard
    • Leave management.
    • Employee Benefits Administration - WIBA, Medical Insurance, OSHA Payments.
    • Manage all casual employees - recruitment - contracts, orientation, end of contracts, PPE'S.
    • Manage the team scores and share with them monthly.
    • Ensure Compliance - Labor Relations Liaison, regular employee handbook update.
    • Disciplinary and Grievance - legal documentation and committee procedures.
    • PIP management of the process
    • Management Training - Disciplinary, leave procedures, Workpay Scheduling, staff requisition.
    • Safety and Security - Orientation for contractors, OSHA Office, and Committee Liaison
    • Notifications to labor office on time where necessary
    • Accurate Payroll
    • Scheduling done ahead of time as per production plan.
    • Enforcement of the company policies

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR administration
    • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
    • Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
    • Experience working with Workpay will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Team player.
