    Lecturer - Department of Environmental Health and Disease Control

    LECTURER, GRADE 12 - REF: JKU/ACA/EHDC/L/05/24
    All applicants must:

    • Possess a PhD in Environmental Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, Environmental Science or a related field.
    • Be registered with the Public Health Officers & Technicians Council or a similar professional body

    Applicants who possess the following additional qualifications will have an added advantage:

    • At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level or at least three (3) years’ experience in research or industry
    • At least two (2) publications in refereed journals

    The candidate must:

    • Have a Master’s degree in Health Information Management, Data Science, Health Systems Management/Health Service Management, Strategic Management/ Monitoring and Evaluation or any other relevant field from a recognized University.
    • Have Bachelor’s degree in Health Records and Information Management from a recognized university.
    • Be ready to register for a PhD in the relevant field
    • Demonstrate potential in teaching and research in an institution of higher learning

    Lecturer - Department of Food Science and Technology

    LECTURER, GRADE 12 - REF: JKU/ADM/FST/8/24
    All applicants must:

    • Possess a PhD in Food Science from an accredited and recognized institution of higher learning in the following areas of specialization; Food Microbiology/Food Biotechnology, Functional Foods Technology/Nutraceutical Foods Technology, Cereal Technology/Baking and Confectionary Technology or Meat Technology/Fruits and Vegetables Technology.
    • Possess MSc in Food Science/Food Technology, and a BSc in Food Science and Technology.
    •  Be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body (where applicable)

    Applicants who possess the following additional qualifications will have an added advantage:

    • At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level or at least three (3) years’ experience in research or industry
