    WISH2ACTION Commercial Manager

    International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)

    The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is the leading global NGO in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). It is currently working in more than 170 countries in the world. The Africa Regional Office (IPPFARO) is one of IPPF’s six regional offices.

     

    “Women’s Integrated Sexual Health” (WISH) is IPPFs new flagship health programme to transform the lives of millions of women and girls. Funded by DFID, WISH will provide integrated and holistic healthcare to 2.2m additional users of contraception across 16 countries in Africa and South Asia from 2018-2021.


    Through a consortium of five internationally recognised organisations and 11 IPPF Member Associations led by IPPF, the WISH programme will provide a comprehensive, integrated approach to ensure equitable access to family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The programme will prioritise the most underserved women and girls, particularly youth under 20, the very poor, and marginalized populations (including people with disability, people displaced or affected by humanitarian crisis, and people living in hard-to-reach areas).

     

    The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is looking to recruit 3 skilled Commercial Managers to join the WISH2ACTION project; to each cover 1 of the 3 regions below:

    Wish Region 1: Ethiopia/Tanzania/Malawi/South Sudan/Somalia/Zimbabwe

    Wish Region 2: Uganda/Zambia/Mozambique/Madagascar

    Wish Region 3: Pakistan/Sudan/Afghanistan/Bangladesh


    This is a diverse and exciting role that will allow you to utilize your skills as an accountant, your commercial and donor contract experience while getting involved with this incredibly important cause. Responsible for supporting the sub-contracting and budgets of member associations and partners, you will implement a performance by results efficient implementation and value for money spend, according to the contract targets and donor compliance.

     The ideal applicant will be able to work strategically and collaboratively, working closely with other commercial advisors, data analysts and program teams. This position will have enormous opportunity for you to develop your team, providing/leading the financial training for staff both internally and externally. Fluent English (verbal and written) and skills in French, Arabic or Portuguese would be a strong advantage.

    WISH2ACTION Data Analyst

    The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is recruiting for 3 skilled Data Analysts to join the WISH2ACTION project, working as an essential part of a team of highly-skilled professionals dedicated to IPPF’s vision. Each Data Analyst will oversee one of the 3 regions below, spread across the 16 countries in Africa and South Asia:

    Wish Region 1: Ethiopia/Tanzania/Malawi/South Sudan/Somalia/Zimbabwe

    Wish Region 2: Uganda/Zambia/Mozambique/Madagascar

    Wish Region 3: Pakistan/Sudan/Afghanistan/Bangladesh

    This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your data analysis skills to support this incredibly important cause, with the flexibility to work in the region that is most suitable to you. You will be responsible for all aspects of performance and evaluation of data analysis for the countries in your region, analysing data for performance monitoring, learning and evidence generation.

    You will be supporting IPPF’s success by working across the WISH2ACTION team and its partners to identify and respond to analysis needs, ensuring the foundation of data required for a results-based funding programme including quality, timeliness, accessibility. This is a truly brilliant role, working closely with the respective Head of Region and the W2A Technical Lead/M&E, ensuring that the is data available at all levels to support decision-making.

    You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and negotiate, strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, strong analytical and project management skills and be willing to travel internationally, about 60 days a year. Fluent English (verbal and written) a must and skills in French, Arabic or Portuguese would be a strong advantage.

    The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is recruiting for a Technical Lead (Quality of Care) for the WISH2ACTION project, an incredible opportunity to be involved in this cause while utilizing your technical skills to support the goals of this project.

    You will be in an amazing and diverse role, providing strategic direction to, and overseeing the implementation of, the WISH quality of care technical work plan to ensure achievement of global project of quality of care technical goals. You will be working within the Global WISH hub, establishing close partnerships with country-level staff across all WISH Partners in all WISH focal countries, ensuring that clinical governance and quality assurance systems are operational across the programme.

    Contributing to the WISH global technical leadership team, you will be showcasing innovative and successful approaches from Member Associations within the Federation, allowing you to be an important part of the decision-making on the wider strategy of this project.
