    Pharmaceutical Technologist

    Responsibilities

    • Provide advice for non-prescription medications.
    • Must be willing to work in the specified region.
    • They must be presentable and articulate.
    • Monitor drugs and other medical supplies levels and initiate the procurement process.
    • Take inventory and track medication and supply orders.
    • Keep records of all drug stocks ordered, drugs issued to clients and stocks remaining.
    • Arrange drugs in the required manner.
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers which includes clinics, doctors, hospitals and other institutions
    • Monitor storage conditions i.e. expiry status and security of the pharmaceuticals
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Qualifications

    • Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poison Board
    • Degree/ Diploma holder from a recognized institution.
    • Original Professional and academic certificates with up to date license
    • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar position
    • Strong negotiation and customer care skills

    Sales Supervisor

    Job Purpose

    To grow the products volume, value and brand equity at assigned retail, wholesale, & distributor trade chains outlets.

    Responsibilities

    • Amidst stiff completion at the retail level for space, share of pocket and the consumer, the product aspires to increase its market & opportunity shares

    Our client in the FMCG industry are seeking  to hire a Procurement & Planning executive.

     Job Responsibilities

    • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
    • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

    Job Description

    Our client in Dairy Industry is seeking to recruit a competent Brand Manager urgently

    Job Purpose

    To manage the development and implementation of the consumer brands through developing communication and promotion strategies followed by effective operational execution plans of these strategies. The Brand Manager is responsible for protecting, growing and building the brands by managing the demand for the brands so as to achieve budgeted volume, market share and profit objectives. The jobholder will also be responsible for developing and effectively implementing marketing activities for the brands and driving the harmonization of brand position in East Africa.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the development, tracking/measuring and completion of brand plans – strategic and operational plans, annual performance review, budget plan, research plans, activity cycle plans and activity plans.
    • Initiate brand innovations to improve brand image attributes amongst customers.
    • Engagement with key Distributors, wholesalers and direct customers to ensure delivery on brand initiatives and drive the creative processes for our brands together with Trade Marketing department.
    • Develop and manage initiatives to improve processes, practices and methods to reduce complexity and enhance speed to market as well as consumer benefits.
    • Monitoring brand availability and sales, and being proactive on factors affecting the brand sales and market share performance.
    • Provide relevant information in a timely manner to support effective and efficient decision making.
    • Management of A&P Budgets to ensure spends in line with strategic direction to enable brand growth.
    • Managing and monitoring the Marketing activity calendar.
    • Advertising agency and other supplier liaison and management.
    • Planning and implementing brand media strategy.
    • Recommending, planning and coordinating brand PR activities likely to enhance the brands sales and image in the short and long term.

    • Monitoring, evaluating and recommending brand packaging, updating including pack and range extensions, and following through to implementation by liaising with the Marketing Manager.
    • Continuously monitoring brand costs and profitability and recommending areas of improvement.
    • Preparing monthly brand expenditure and variance reports to control budgeted expenditure.
    • Carrying out market intelligence through regular trade visits and utilizing this to enhance brand activities.
    • Liaising with Procurement to source promotional and packaging material for brand promotion activation.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Appropriate brand health measures as set out in the monthly Brand Health Tracker research tool.
    • Brand A&P budget as per annual plan.
    • Brand profitability.
    • Brand volume and market share.
    • The timely execution of marketing plans.

    Qualifications

    • A graduate preferably in Marketing and Economics.
    • A minimum of 4-5 years marketing experience preferable in DAIRY/FOOD& BEVERAGE Industry including experience working in cross-functional sales, trade and brand marketing teams.
    • THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION EXPERIENCE in brand strategy development, brand planning, program development, product development and customer engagement.
    • Marketing management experience.
    • Experience in the development and execution of advertising strategies.
    • Digital and social media marketing experience would be an added advantage.
    • Member of the Kenya Institute of Marketing or CIM will add value.

    Van Sales Representative

    Job Description

    The VSR is accountable for delivering superior volume, coverage, distribution and In-store presence (Distribution, Pricing, shelving and Merchandising as per standards) in all the VSR stores of your section.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver volume, coverage and sales fundamentals targets
    • Deliver product on a regular basis determined by a delivery plan and set route to a specific set of customers within the agreed window of time.
    • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing an efficient, reliable, friendly and courteous service to all customers
    • Maintain the highest standard of service by maintaining the required supply of stock to ensure a 100% service level with no ‘stock outs’ (Including Merchandising Plano-gram / counting stock / replenish / collect Sale or Return products) to the highest standard.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and maintain up to date information regarding new initiatives, prices, promotions, new product listings and product de-lists.
    • Provide information and feedback to the Van Sales Supervisor, on Customer requirements and competitor activity on your route

    Accountable For:-

    • The goods loaded into the back of your van and for accountable for stock take purposes.
    • Targets of the month (volume, distribution)

    Bad debts

    • The correct use of and maintenance of all equipment supplied by the company.
    • Completing all of the “end day” tasks

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing
    • Minimum of 3 year in van sales in Dairy or FMCG Industry
    • MUST have a valid Driving License –Class BCE
    • Good understanding of basic computer skills
    • Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building
