Role Overview
- The Deputy Lead Dispatch is responsible for managing all outbound operations, loading supervision, and dispatch coordination at the Distribution Centre. This role ensures timely, accurate, and safe delivery of goods, maintaining OTIF (On Time In Full) targets while coordinating across weighbridge, transport, and warehouse teams.
- The Deputy Lead Dispatch reports to Lead Warehouse & Outbound Logistics and supervises Weighbridge Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, and loading teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Outbound Loading & Dispatch Management
- Oversee loading operations to ensure trucks are loaded correctly, safely, and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO, batch, and damage prevention standards.
- Prioritize orders and coordinate with warehouse staff and pickers.
Weighbridge Coordination
- Coordinate with Weighbridge Supervisor (Aftab) to ensure all trucks are weighed accurately before dispatch.

Transport Coordination

Operational Planning & Optimization
- Plan daily loading schedules, vehicle allocations, and delivery sequencing.
- Implement initiatives to improve loading efficiency, reduce dwell time, and optimize space usage.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all loading and dispatch activities comply with company SOPs, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety checks and monitor loading practices to prevent accidents and damages.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate daily dispatch reports, loading summaries, and KPI dashboards.
- Maintain records for audit and management review.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise loading and weighbridge staff, ensuring performance, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

Continuous Improvement

Job Purpose
- The Fulfilment Clerk is responsible for coordinating all outbound order fulfilment activities within the HighJump Warehouse Management System (WMS) from order release to loading preparation. The role ensures customer orders are accurately grouped into vehicle loads, released for picking, monitored throughout the picking process, and prepared for dispatch through proper staging identification and dock allocation. The Fulfilment Clerk acts as the operational control point linking Warehouse Operations, Transport, Dispatch, Inventory, Security and Customer Service to ensure every shipment is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
- Monitor and prioritize customer orders in HighJump WMS;validate order readiness and release orders for fulfilment.
Load Planning
- Create Load IDs, pool multiple orders into vehicle loads, and optimize loads based on route, capacity, and delivery schedule.
RF Picking Coordination
- Release orders to RF guns, monitor picking completion, and resolve picking exceptions (short picks, damages, inventory discrepancies).
Picker Allocation

- Allocate loading docks and communicate vehicle registration, driver, transporter, dock number, and loading schedule to all operational teams.
WMS Transactions
- Maintain accurate and real-time WMS transactions for load creation, picker assignment, staging, dock allocation, and dispatch readiness.
Exception Management
- Investigate and resolve fulfilment, staging, labelling, vehicle, and WMS-related exceptions; escalate unresolved issues promptly.
Reporting & Communication

JOB OBJECTIVE:
- The Boiler Shift In charge report to the Lead Cogen. The Position holder is responsible for maintaining and supervising heating systems operations, with special responsibility for emergency service, maintenance of equipment, and installation, raw material / fuel stock, spares, legal require inspection, safety, etc. The position is responsible for controlling the operation of the boilers, generators and auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner during the assigned shift.
- Supervise operators in the performance of their duties when more than one person is on shift. The number of subordinate operators is determined by conditions at the plant, load, (steam and electrical production) demands placed upon the plant and seasonal maintenance activities.
DETAILED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the safety of all employees through effective implementation of the Safety standards
- Directs and supervises the operation of boilers, turbines, generators and related auxiliary equipment on their shift.
- Coordinates with Engineering for the production of electrical power including hourly loading, unit start-ups, shutdowns, etc.
