    Quality Control Inspector

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To verify that the requirements of the Project Quality Plan are satisfied by project/facilities execution activities, making sure project technical integrity is met.
    • To support the quality control tests selection and interpretation of test results according to the Project’s engineering and construction codes approved.
    • Review and approved the Contractor’s ITPs according to the Project’s engineering and construction codes approved.
    • Implementing, and monitoring the Project Quality Control System.
    • Collect and report data and results of the quality inspection performed, and test results.
    • Ensure proper reporting on Quality Control data.
    • Provide support for the adequate and continuous assessments of the Quality capabilities and performances of contractors.
    • Coordinating Quality Control activities (inspections as per approved QCP's) and resources (Quality Engineers and Inspectors) within Construction Sites and workshops.
    • Implement QC procedures and forms required for inspection, release, and non-conformance management.
    • Verify that all Quality Control verifications are performed in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plans.
    • To monitor, control and validate the welding inspections performed by the Contractor’s counterpart.
    • To monitor, control and validate the concrete quality inspections performed by the Contractor’s counterpart.
    • To monitor, control and validate the painting quality inspections performed by the Contractor’s counterpart.
    • Participate in site construction meetings between the company and contractor.
    • Review and comment on Contractors' and Vendors' quality plans, relevant quality control plans and procedures making sure they are following Company requirements.
    • Carrying out technical audits to Vendors and Contractors.
    • Provide reports as required to management on QC-related matters and advise on any critical issues arising relating to QC.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
    • Technical Diploma.
    • Professionally qualified quality system certifier (preferred).
    • Accreditation in QA/QC Codes and Standards (CSWIP, ASME Sections V, VIII, IX, and B31.1 & 31.9, AWS D1.1, NACE, ISO 9001)

    Training & Courses:

    • Welding Inspection Courses Level II
    • Coating Inspection Courses Level II
    • Concrete Application
    • Hazard Identification
    • Asset Integrity Management System
    • Quality Control course

    Experience:

    • 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry field with HSE experience.
    • At least 5 years of quality assurance and control experience or equivalent.

    Technical skills:

    • Quality & Safety: System Management Development & Implementation, Audit & Certification Activities, Guidelines & Procedure Definitions, Business Integration, Customer Satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of Civil Quality Control, Welding of Structural elements, and Piping. HSE Risk Analysis and Job Safety Analysis.

    Civil Engineer

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Technical integrity of civil engineering design.
    • Accuracy of civil works cost and schedule estimates.
    • HSEQ standards, procedures and best practice application to civil engineering design and construction plan.
    • Coordinating geotechnical and geophysical surveys.
    • Identifying and adopting the correct civil engineering/construction standards according to company procedures, local norms and legislation (especially about safety, pollution, HSEQ).
    • Preparing technical and contractual specifications for constructions, infrastructures and civil works.
    • Civil engineering reviewing and approving contractor’s documentation.
    • Design reviewing (construction and installation design; yard field).
    • Reviewing civil works and constructions cost.
    • Reviewing and evaluating civil works and constructions bid.
    • Supporting construction manager planning and monitoring project execution (schedule, cost and compliance of work to project specifications).
    • Providing technical support to civil works contractors.
    • Supervise construction works.
    • Train/mentor junior engineers.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Civil engineering or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • 7 years of Civil engineering experience.
    • Preferred civil construction experience.

    Technical Skills: 

    • Plant Design.
    • Material Corrosion and Design.
    • HSE Principles and Systems.
    • Construction Works (civil & building works)

    HSE Supervisor

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the HSE Manager in monitoring the progress of the HSE activities through regular updates of the remedial work plans, vehicle tracker, Machine trackers and SOCA tracker.
    • Carry out workplace inspections, report on the findings and institute measures to remedy non-compliances with regard to the standards set and the legal requirements.
    • Write non-compliance reports and institute remedial measures for compliance.
    • Proactively promote and ensure compliance with HSE system at the workplace.
    • Make daily, weekly and monthly reports of all the activities at the workplace as appropriate.
    • In consultation with the HSE Manager develop, manage and enforce company standards and policies with regard to HSE.
    • Coordinate safety and health surveillance for the workplace
    • Ensure that the company vehicles comply with the standards and staff comply with the regulations of use.
    • Assist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.
    • Confirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities.
    • Attend project planning meetings.
    • Assessments and approval of contractor(s) health and safety plans.
    • Attend the contractor's site handover.
    • Attend regular site, technical and progress meetings.
    • Facilitate site health and safety meetings.
    • Identification of the hazards and risks relevant to the construction project through regular coordinated site inspections.
    • Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, and distribute health and safety-specific documents to sub-contractors.
    • Compiling project-specific emergency response and preparedness plans.
    • Test the effectiveness of the emergency response plans.
    • Conduct site safety inductions.
    • Evaluate the levels of compliance of subcontractors to the project-specific health and safety plan and client specifications through inspections and audits.
    • Oversee the reporting and investigation of project-related incidents.
    • Oversee the maintenance of all records.
    • Participation in management reviews of the health and safety systems.
    • Use trends analysis to identify system deficiencies and incident trends, and outline relevant improvements.
    • Incorporation of changes into a health and safety management system.
    • Review and update the health and safety plan.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A University Degree or Diploma
    • A certificate in HSE training.
    • A certificate in HSE training
    • A Certificate in basic computer packages
    • NEBOSH.

    Experience:

    • 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry field with HSE experience.
    • Experienced in HSE Risk Analysis and Job Safety Analysis.
    • Experience in construction is added advantage.
