    Electrical Sales Representative

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
    • Maintain and develop good relationship with customers through personal contact or meetings or via telephone etc
    • Must act as a bridge between the company and its current market
    • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
    • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
    • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
    • Provide customers with quotations
    • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
    • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
    • Collaborate with team to achieve better results
    • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
    • Identify new markets and business opportunities.

    Skill & Experience

    • At-least 1 year of experience selling all Electricalcables & accessories
    • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
    • Fast learner and passion for sales
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
    • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
    • Possess the skill to work both in team and perform independently
    • Should be able to thrive in competitive markets
    • Graduate or Post Graduate with relevant Degree

    Brand/Product Activator

    Key Responsibilities

    Foundation

    • Understand our products fully (their features; benefits; pricing and market competitiveness)
    • Report to and work under our key distributor on a daily basis
    • Map out routes and towns within the Mt. Kenya region under the distributor’s coverage
    • Form relationships with the distributor’s sales team
    • Understand the distributor’s way of working (minimum order quantities, pricing, order taking)

    Activation

    • Travel to customers daily across all the routes of the distributor in and around Kerugoya
    • Familiarize customers with our products using physical samples and demonstrations
    • Build a strong awareness of our brands amongst customers
    • Build availability awareness (“always available at the distributor”)

    Sales and after-sales

    • Circulate physical copies of the distributor’s price lists for our products to all customers

    For new stockists:

    • Encourage listing of our fast-moving products

    For existing stockiest:

    • Encourage repeat sales for any of our products already bought
    • Convince customers to stock a wider range of our products
    • Ensure products are visible to the end-customer on shelves or grills
    • Provide marketing support such as Stallion display boards and Jikokoa stickers
    • Proactively deal with any after-sales issues such as warranty registration and quality
    • Ensure that the distributor has adequate stocks of our products across all their stores

    Skill & Experience

    • Must have done activations before minimum of 6 months
    • MUST BE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN KERUGOYA

    Secretary

    Job Description

    Provide general administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, responding to routine correspondence; organizing responses in order of priority; update of filing systems, monitoring and ensuring availability of stationery and other working tools. Performing all general office duties required for a legal office including transcribing and formatting legal documents and business correspondence, filing and general secretarial duties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Attending to clients/visitors;
    • Assisting with drafting of correspondence to clients;
    • Handling telephone calls and appointments;
    • Managing records and data associated with each file;
    • Organizing office and boardroom meetings;
    • Maintaining contact lists;
    • Managing office materials, stationery and supplies;
    • Compiling reports and data, expense reimbursement reports, etc.
    • Assisting with tasks such as printing, making copies, proof reading, etc
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

    Skill & Experience

    • Diploma Level in Secretarial Studies (MUST)
    • At least 2-3 years working experience as a secretary
    • Experience in LAW FIRM is an added advantage.
    • Excellent IT knowledge in MS Office and skills in document management (filing/archiving).
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Excellent oral and written presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain networks of contacts.
    • Personal initiative and ability to focus on priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Professional personal appearance and conduct
    • Open, flexible personality; excellent ability to perform duties with accuracy within a given deadline.
    • A high degree of integrity and the ability to deal with confidential information.
