    Digital Incubation Lead

    Responsibilities

    • Accountable for digital Solution Innovation, test & learn opportunities in market. Facilitate digital product requirements and channel it back to core product teams for discussion and scoping
    • Support field testing, user research, validation and collecting user data
    • Help with any localization requirements for the solution and collection of any collaterals required
    • Work closely with the Growth & Commercialization and Product team to support end to end service design, customer support journey and manual processes
    • Research local technologies and possible integrations to enhance & support the solution
    • Be a self-starter, knowing how to work with ambiguity and unknown challenges to build our global muscles in prioritized markets.
    • You will be connecting the needs of the region with the Product team while identifying opportunities to improve the end-to-end developers' journey.
    • Provide support across ideation, acceleration, and investment stages

    Profile

    • Degree in relevant field
    • Competitive spirit with demonstrated ability to strive in a competitive environment
    • Highly resilient, committed, leadership, strategic, ability to work under pressure, team player, innovative with excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
    • Have handled multiple end-to-end digital products deliveries in a senior or similar product management position;
    • Have worked with data to support business & commercialization models.
    • Handled digital products using Agile/Scrum process and principles.
    • Prior hands-on experience in technical development or technical design.
    • Experience in low LSM users, and mobile technologies impact space preferred. Agriculture experience is advantageous but not required.
    • Strong team and stakeholder management skills: ability to motivate, communicate at different levels, train, mentor and lead Incubation “test & learn” throughout the process

    Senior Manager, Digital Growth & Commercialization

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a growth & commercial team responsible for the commercialization and user acquisition of digital solutions in East Africa, comprising of marketing, pricing, digital customer support and regional growth & commercialization staff
    • Defining integrated digital offers tailored to different markets and customers including full end to end customer success management.
    • Pricing of digital offers to secure viability across offerings.
    • Defining and implementing go-to-market strategies to best serve key regions and target farmers.
    • Supporting solution teams through local customer insights, needs, and user analytics
    • Work closely with Digital Incubation Manager on current MVP’s in market – handling all GTM plans.
    • Collaborate with the local leadership team, across the transform portfolio of new revenue models, digital services, new markets, new channels.
    • End to end ownership of go-to-market strategies, country legal clearance and compliance, commercial business case, budget and resource requirements.

    Profile

    • Awareness and understanding of new digital business models and new digitally-enabled business models in the crop nutrition space.
    • Insights into the dynamics of smallholder markets across Africa and understanding of fertilizer and ag-input business models a key upside, given the multiple interactions with the fertilizer business.
    • Experience/awareness in the commercialization of digital products and services or IoT solutions from concept through to commercial release.
    • Experience/awareness in integrating digital services and products with traditional business models in and/or in an industry with similarities to the agriculture value chain, farming, and farmer needs.
    • Previous management experience of a commercial team including multiple managers in remote locations.

    Marketing Manager

    Responsibilities

    This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and reports to the Country Manager.

    • Develop and utilize the marketing strategy to create and implement an integrated omi-channel marketing plan in line with Yara business plan objectives and budgets with a strong focus on return on investment.
    • Co-ordinate and develop integrated Yara messaging across various platforms, digital (web, social and applications) and traditional channels in line with brand guidelines and sales strategy requirements.
    • Manage all third-party agencies according to budgets from conception through to delivery in line with sales strategy priorities.
    • Produce and keep up to date a clear set of brand elements and communication materials in accordance with regional and global standards.
    • Ensure that all local product packaging is in line with product specifications and branding requirements.
    • Manage marketing budgets for Kenya as agreed in the business plan process, always actively looking for efficiencies to deliver on marketing plan and budget optimization.
    • Work with the Country Lead, Commercial Managers and Business Unit to design an efficient channel partner marketing framework.
    • Lead and develop the marketing team to ensure productivity, engagement and growth within and beyond their roles.

    Profile

    • A minimum of 7 years of work experience in a multinational Organization
    • 3 years progressive experience in a senior Marketing role
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in people management
    • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
