Role Responsibilities

• Monitor the stability of our infrastructure with various tools.
• Handle incident response, troubleshooting and fix for various servers/services.
• Handle escalations as per policies/procedures.
• Get different internal groups together to resolve production issues effectively.
• Communicate clearly on tickets, phone calls made to the teams about various issues.

• Get different internal groups together to resolve production issues effectively.

Our Ideal Candidate

• AWS certified DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience.
• Hands on experience working on AWS and Google Cloud.
• At least one-year exp in microservices using Docker, kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, EC2, ingress and api gateways.
• Most have worked with Container and automation tools such as Docker, terraform and Ansible Jenkins
• In-depth knowledge of Networks topology and cloud Security.
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Well versed with at-least two scripting languages - Shell and one more (Python , Ruby). And CloudFormation .
• Sound understanding of OS (Linux, CentOs) and OS hardening.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Capable of leading a team of ops and ability of prepare and execute a vision.
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Should be able to work Independently and execute tasks with precision.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Code, Build and Release management (CICD) using GIT / Bitbucket and Jenkins.

Role Responsibilities

• Must be familiar with UNIX, SQL, Python Scripting, and Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Uptime Robot, Nagios
• Good problem-solving skills, good verbal and written comms skills, ability to work under pressure to restore services,
• Ability to manage incidents independently as well as working together in a local team and wider regional team
• Capability to flick between break/fix, and proactive tasks projects
• Enhance monitoring tool to improve the monitoring of production processes Build python scripts for application tooling
• Working with the development team to automate manual support processes Provide strong incident management during outages to improve recovery time Analysis of incidents to identify underlying trends and focus areas
• Supporting the design and development of standard process to eliminate pain points, issues and root causes of current Production Management processes.
• Facilitate industry-standard Root Cause Analysis (RCA) exercises as a result of critical incidents and initiating the Problem Management cycle
• Interact directly with IT leaders, managers and key stakeholders to proactively communicate status on active major incidents or problem tickets
• Confidence to push back and say No when expectations are not aligned with the correct/agreed/sold solution
• Monitor Production Management processes e.g., Incident Management, escalation procedures, and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
• Provide ad hoc reports to the business where this will add value or reduce costs.
• Carries out detailed technical analysis of the production to identify performance,
• stability and resilience enhancements
• Designs, tests, and documents simple programs, or scripts and assists in the implementation of software which forms part of a properly engineered Application or platform
• Configures the application, in response to Business and/or technical problems and in accordance with provided requirements and agreed design principles
• Works with Delivery Services e.g. (Infrastructure) on improvements to service availability and resilience
