    Regional PMM Prime Coordinator

    In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

    Essential

    • Bachelor degree in any related field
    • Have a minimum of 3-5 years working experience in project management.
    • Experience of Program Operations and or/ PDQ within SC.
    • Experience of driving adoption and usage compliance.
    • SCI PMM certified.
    • Deep understanding of core SCI functions and systems.
    • Experience in leading/supporting capacity building and coaching initiative
    • Proven ability to work effectively with people from different cultures.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Commitment to Save the Children values.
    • Proficiency in English and depending of the role location, French, Arabic or Spanish.

    Advocacy & Communication Officer (ECHO)

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    • University degree in the field of communications, public relations, languages, journalism, marketing, advertising or equivalent (Completed).
    • Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as well as a critical eye for editing and proofreading grammar.
    • Ability to think and work logically and work precisely with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge in converting written text into creative works for children;
    • Experience and skills in the use of software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
    • Experience in managing websites and in using social media tools in a professional context.
    • Initiative, sound judgment, and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members of different national and cultural backgrounds.

    • 3 years or more experience in Child Protection Programming with at least 1 year Pan African/Regional level experience.

    Gender Technical Specialist, Regional Programming Unit

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Masters degree in Women and Gender Studies or related degree with focus on gender equality in international and Africa regional development, social work, public health, sociology, anthropology or related area, or equivalent experience

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    • At least 5 years' experience (including field experience) providing technical leadership for the design and implementation of development programmes focused on advancing gender equality
    • Strong understanding of gender equality principles and practices, the gender equality sector, policy priorities and key gender inequalities impacting children in Africa
    • Significant experience in gender equality training, capacity building, and mentoring, and a demonstrated ability to make complex concepts compelling and accessible
    • Demonstrated knowledge and skills related to intersectional gender and power analysis, and to the design, piloting, implementation and evaluation of innovative technical tools and resource to advance gender equality
    • Track record in contributing to institutional development, designing and pitching gender transformative approaches, models and programs
    • Demonstrated strong knowledge and skills related to gender sensitive and transformative program design, monitoring and evaluation, including designing pathways to sustainable impact at scale.
    • Experience of strategy development and planning to advance gender equality and social justice
    • Experience of context, capacity and policy analysis, grounded on intersectional gender and power analysis, and influencing and advocacy at regional/international level in order to hold duty bearers to account to advance gender equality and realise children's rights.
    • Skilled at networking, representation and partnership development in order promote learning, strengthen civil society and mobilise resources.
    • Able to generate and use data and evidence to innovate, deliver, learn and share what works and what doesn't work for transforming the root causes of harmful gender norms and promoting gender equality for and with children
    • Demonstrated thought leadership expertise such as contributions to academic journals, books, articles; speaking engagements, workshop facilitation, leading conference presentations and panels
    • Experience of promoting quality and impact through at least one cross-cutting area: resilience and climate change; adaptive and safer programming; child rights; disability; migration and displacement.
    • Experience of supporting humanitarian preparedness, response and recovery
    • Fluent in English and high level of English writing skills.

    Regional Program Manager -SIDA CSO

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
     

    • Relevant university degree (International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Child Right, Political Science, Sociology or other Social Science, International Development, etc.)

    Essential:

    • A minimum of 8 years' of demonstrated experience in program management and administration, including grants management, donor compliance and managing complex grants.
    • A minimum of 4 years' proven experience in managing regional and/or multi-country programs, demonstrating the ability to matrix manage
    • A minimum of 8 years' proven experience of supporting partner-led capacity strengthening and OCD, in line with the Development Effectiveness and/or localisation agendas.
    • Experience of working for an enabling environment for civic space
    • Solid experience in working collaboratively through equal partnerships
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in directly managing Nordic framework agreements or EIDHR funding.
    • Excellent written and spoken level of English
    • Proven excellent skills in program performance and quality monitoring and reporting.
    • Proven excellent skills in multistakeholder management, both internally and externally, with a strong ability to project strategic vision, adherence and buy-in.
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to think and plan strategically.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.

    Desirable:

    • Solid experience in remote management and implementation in complex and insecure environments
    • Knowledge of and proven experience of working in Child rights programming and Child Rights Governance
    • Knowledge of and proven experience of working with gender equality, environment and climate change
    • Strong skills in staff management, moderation, conflict resolution and capacity-building
    • Solid experience in managing multisector programs and an integrated approach to programming
