    Sales Executive - Construction (Ngong Road)- 2 Positions

    About the Client:

    • Our client, a reputable Construction company, is actively seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join their team. With a focus on expanding their business and market presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales management, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to implement effective sales strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company\'s continued success in the Construction industry.

    Role Overview

    • The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing sales performance, developing strategies, and ensuring efficient operations within their assigned geographic territory. The role involves supervising Foot Soldiers, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and identifying growth opportunities to meet sales targets.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and support Foot Soldiers and distributors to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Implement strategies to penetrate the market and maximize sales within the region.
    • Monitor and analyze the sales performance of the assigned territory.
    • Identify potential growth areas and implement effective strategies to address gaps.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and major retailers within the region.
    • Serve as the key point of contact for escalations and support within the territory.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts to guide inventory planning.
    • Ensure adequate stock availability for distributors and retailers.
    • Manage, train, and motivate Foot Soldiers to achieve their sales goals.
    • Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies within the territory.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years in a sales role, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Foot Soldiers / Field Sales Representatives- Construction (Ngong Road)

    Role Overview

    • The Foot Soldiers/Field Sales Representatives will operate on the ground within their assigned territories, ensuring direct interaction with customers, securing orders, enhancing product visibility, and executing promotional campaigns. They play a critical role in building customer relationships, collecting market intelligence, and achieving sales targets.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct daily visits to retailers, distributors, or end customers to establish and maintain strong relationships.
    • Address customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
    • Secure customer orders and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Follow up on payments and ensure proper documentation.
    • Implement in-store promotions, campaigns, and product displays to boost sales.
    • Educate customers on promotions and new product offerings.
    • Gather and report competitor information, including pricing, promotions, and market trends.
    • Provide timely feedback to the Territory Manager for strategic decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, sales, and customer feedback.
    • Submit regular reports to the Territory Manager on sales performance and market conditions.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
    • Familiarity with the assigned territory.
    • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
    • Proficiency in using basic reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, CRM systems).

    Accountant - Construction (2 Positions)

    About the Client:

    • Our client is a leading innovative construction solutions provider who has a proven track record of performance driven by solid knowledge and experience in the construction industry and is seeking to recruit Accountant responsible for the accounting functions. 

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage treasury functions, including oversight of payables and receivables.
    • Prepare financial statements, annual budgets, and detailed expenditure reports for the company.
    • Maintain accurate cash accounts, ensuring smooth cash flow, and managing cash payments, advances approvals, receipting, and recording of income and expenses.
    • Process payments, including cheque preparation, voucher creation, and ensuring all expenses have the proper approval and supporting documentation, with timely payment of invoices.
    • Handle filing and submission of domestic taxes and statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, WHT and  NSSF.
    • Perform inventory reconciliation by accurately posting all project-related purchases, issues, and balances.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and creditor accounts.
    • Manage petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and timely reimbursement.
    • Contribute to the formulation of annual budgets and monitor ongoing project expenditure.
    • Maintain organization records in an orderly and accessible manner.
    • Coordinate audit and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with standards.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • CPA (K) certification.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction projects.
    • Proficient in accounting software and systems used in construction management.

    Competencies and Skills:

    • Strong public relations skills.
    • Proficient in IT systems and software.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong team player with effective collaboration abilities.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
