    Sales Executive – Digital

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Works on and actively sets out to achieve the agreed-set financial and non-financial targets from the assigned clients.
    • Handles an agreed set of market, clients/accounts as advised, determined, discussed and agreed by/with the Sales Manager.
    • Develop, map, and document the designated accounts and ensure complete coverage in the assigned accounts and market area/segment.
    • Develop and maintain user-level& mid-user-level contacts.
    • Identifies prospects and leads generated in the assigned accounts. 
    • Qualify the prospects/leads and where necessary liaise with the Sales/ Branch Manager on the same. 
    • Identifying optimum solutions and where necessary liaison with Pre-sales support.
    • Ensure maximum penetration & completion of user training at the customer location to ensure optimization of the machine features and thereby the consumption.
    • Prepare proposals and presentations as per the organizational standards and client requirements.
    • Negotiate and finalize deals as per the organizational guidelines.
    • Ensure timely preparation and response to tender /RFQ/RFI/EOI, pre-qualifications, and FP in liaison with the Bid desk.
    • Ensure timely collection of any pending payment in liaison with the credit control team.
    • Work closely with a Sales manager, Pre-Sales, CRS, and team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the equipment/services/consumables.
    • Assist the supervisor in planning the stocks based on past trends & forecasts based on customer needs.

     Thinking requirements and Working Complexity

    • Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all solutions offered in Office Automation
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Excellent presentation, planning and organization skills
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • High level of integrity

    Key Knowledge and Experience 

    • 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Mgt with any extra IT-related field qualification is preferred. A degree is an added advantage.
    • Experience in end customer relationship management
    • Proven salesmanship
    • Key certifications in the area of business in terms of Product and or service
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
    • Experience in Office automation or enterprise software/hardware solutions and small and or large complex organizations would be preferred.
    • Strong understanding of customer impact metrics & solutions
    • Proven interpersonal and team coordination skills.
    • Proven proficiency in MS-Office
    • Data Analytical skills

    Credit Controller / Debt Collector – EdTech

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the debtor’s book to ensure that the debt status is accurate and latest.
    • Monitor slow moving accounts to identify delinquent debts and take necessary action to recover the debts.
    • Collect outstanding debts from clients and achieve collection targets. 
    • Conduct field visits to clients to collect outstanding debts where necessary. 
    • Contact debtors and implement payment schedules and terms.
    • Assist the company to take legal action against defaulters.
    • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly collection reports against target and share with the management team.
    • Support reconciliation of consignment stock.
    • Enforce and support in updating of credit control procedures and policies, in collaboration with sales, finance and other team members that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention.
    • Report any payment issues to management or the appropriate team. .

    Requirements (Attach proof of this with CV or cover letter)

    • At least 2 years’ experience in debt collection or credit control.
    • Proven collection success
    • Positive history with protocols and procedures such as reporting, participation in team activities, engagement with teams and management.
    • Collections experience in the publishing or educational sector is an added advantage.

    Sales Representative – EdTech

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Visiting clients including schools and bookshops to market and sell More Africa Series books.
    • Collecting and submitting detailed data of all institutions covered i.e. name of school, name of contact person, and designation of contact person, telephone and email contacts.
    • Collecting payments from your client through authorized channels.
    • Preparing accurate daily sales reports detailing coverage, sales and collection activities conducted.
    • Being in the best professional character at all times while representing the publisher and its products.
    • Performing any other duties as will be assigned by your supervisor from time to time.

    Requirements.

    • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
    • Demonstrated end-to-end sales success of at least Ksh. 750,000 per month.
    • Positive history with protocols and procedures such as reporting, participation in team activities, engagement with teams and management.
    • Educational sales experience is an added advantage.
    • Certificate of good conduct.
