    Administrator, Middle School Principal

    Job Summary/Objective:

    • The role of the WNS Middle School Principal is to provide instructional leadership and support for the teaching staff in the middle school. 

    Reports to:

    • WNS Head of School

    General Responsibilities:

    • Provide Spiritual Leadership to staff and students.
    • Provide Instructional Leadership, ensuring academic goals of the school are met.
    • Develop and facilitate leadership capacity among staff and students
    • Manage school operations and resources in collaboration with the Field Leadership Team
    • Work with the Field Leadership Team to develop an inclusive school community with Christ as our center.
    • Work with school team for accreditation.
    • Foster effective relationships with parents and the WNS Community.

    Qualifications:
    The candidate must possess:

    • Evidence of spiritual leadership and maturity
    • Current state or provincial issued certification; ACSI administrator certification
    • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum/Instruction
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in a preparatory role
    • Effective communication skills with parents, teachers, and students

    Science Teacher, High School

    Job Summary:

    • Teach upper level Science classes to 10th, 11th and/or 12th grade students. 
    • Teach Chemistry (3 sections) and AP (Biology or Chemistry) (1 section)
    • Share the gospel daily with students as a class and individually with the goal of creating disciples of Jesus Christ
    • Ensure consistent Christ-centered instruction throughout the curriculum.
    • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
    • Plan, prepare and deliver highly engaging instructional activities based on outcomes of curriculum.
    • Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.

    Secondary Educational Resource Services Teacher

    Job Summary

    • Create a positive educational classroom for students to learn in.
    • Share the gospel daily with students as a class and individually with the goal of creating disciples of Jesus Christ
    • Ensure consistent Biblical Illumination throughout the curriculum.
    • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
    • Plan, prepare and deliver highly engaging instructional activities based on outcomes of curriculum
    •  Participate in ongoing Professional Development to meet school and individual goals.
    •  Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
    • Develop professional relationships with other agencies and programs.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a professional learning community.
    • Build positive relationships with parents and the WNS community.
    • Gather and report data for all reporting requirements concerning students with IEPs/504s plans and other required reports
    • Ensure IEPs are developmentally appropriate, curriculum/standards-based, strength based and relevant to individual students
    • Oversee special education inventory of equipment and materials
    • Maintain high level of knowledge regarding developing special education issues such as changes in federal special education policy
    • Maintain student files and keep them confidential
