    Executive Secretary II

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

    • A Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Studies, Bachelor of Office Management, Bachelor of Commerce (HRM), Bachelor of Business Management (Business Administration), or any other relevant qualification from an accredited institution of learning;
    • OR
    • Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies with nine (9) years of experience in a similar executive position;
    • Single and group certificates offered by KNEC or an equivalent certificate from a recognized examining body;
    • Three (3) years relevant working experience as a Senior Secretary or its equivalent;

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

    • Diploma in Secretarial Studies with three (3) years' working experience;

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University;
    • CPA (K) or CIA (Certified Internal Audit) or CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) certificate;
    • Three (3) years' work experience as an Internal Audit Assistant in a University OR six (6) years' work experience in a comparable Institution;

    • Verify and scrutinize the books of accounts and provide appropriate advice.
    • Facilitate follow up audits on outstanding audit issues to confirm if corrective actions as recommended have been taken.

    Assistant Dean of Students

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

    • Cumulative service period of six (6) years' relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at grade 11.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

    Corporation Secretary

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

    • Master of Law/Social Sciences Degree from accredited and recognized Institution;
    • Must be a certified secretary (CS)

    Assistant Registrar (HR)

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

    • Cumulative service period of six (6) years' relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Senior Administrative Assistant I or in a comparable position in an institution of higher learning or equivalent;
    • Master's Degree in Human Resource management;
    • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP K) Certificate;

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Advising and reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (AFD) on all matters relating to functions of Human Resource Management;

    • Ensuring safe custody of documents pertaining to human resource functions to ensure human capital data protection and easy retrieval;
    • Overseeing the handling staff records relating to employees and dependents and subsequent forwarding of this to various service providers; in line with v. Drafting advertisements and overseeing recruitment and selection processes approved budget allocations and staff establishments in order to manage the wage bill;
    • Processing of appointment letters for new employees and part-time letters lecturers;
    • Inputting of staff data into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP);
    • Preparing and implementing staff induction and orientation programmes for new employees;

    • Overseeing processing staff annuål leave requests as stipulated in the terms of service;

    • Dealing with matters which may from time to time be referred to HR by the management.

    Grounds Man

    Minimum Qualification and Experience
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (plain) or equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution; and

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Cutting grass within the University premises;
    • Clearing blocked drainage, clearing roads and foot paths within the University;
    • Collecting garbage and unwanted materials within the University;
    • Planting and weeding of trees, flowers and cutting of hedges in the University;
    • Taking custody of all tools and equipment assigned to you;

    Method of Application
