    Director of Food & Beverage

    Front Office Supervisor

    The Front Office Supervisor is a supervisory level role that will be involved in Front Office operations. This developmental role will focus on growth and learning in management of the front desk operations, guest services, and colleague management.

    What You Will Be Doing:  

    • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
    • Provide leadership support for Front Desk, Royal Service and Guest Services in the daily operational duties for these areas 
    • Assist with MOD shift coverage at the Front Desk (all shifts including overnight)
    • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
    • Settle guest accounts  while ensuring all services standards are followed
    • Perform all functions of guest registry including check in and check out, updating reservations and guest profiles to 100% accuracy, swift but correct room assignment while meeting luxury standards
    • Drive revenue through room upsells and cross-promotion of other hotel outlets
    • Utilize Royal Service Manager and understand how to analyze reports to track service challenges and inconsistencies
    • Communicate and prioritize rooms on queue for Front Office and Housekeeping
    • Facilitate communication and relay information between Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to better anticipate guest needs
    • Actively participate in daily department shift briefings, daily Ops meeting, and department monthly meetings
    • Contribute to a fun and engaging work environment for all Front Office staff
    • Report necessary maintenance items via Royal Service Manager and Engineering Department
    • Maintain a company issued bank and accurately report receipts daily, while adhering to company cash handling policies
    • Builds strong rapport with support departments
    • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
    • Other duties as assigned 

     Your Skills and Qualifications Include:

    • Proficient in English (verbal & written) essential
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hotel Housekeeping or Front Office environment preferred
    • Proven training skills
    • Experience with Hotel Property Management System(s)
    • Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail
    • Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills
    • Able to convey information and ideas clearly
    • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
    • Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
    • Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by colleagues and guests
    • Must be able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work well with limited supervision

     Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

    • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
    • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
    • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
    • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

    Room Steward

    Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

    • Cleaning of all guest rooms as assigned.
    • Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest
    • Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings while ensuring exceptional service.
    • Improve the work performance and develop better service for your assignment
    • Ready to take responsibility when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by Supervisor
    • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
    • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
