    Loan Sales Specialist - Mombasa

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Establish and manage relationships with car dealers, existing and potential customers
    • Sell Mogo products i.e Car Financing and Logbook Loans to customers and partners
    • Generate sales leads using existing and potential customer network and all partners. 
    • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your sale leads.
    • Work closely with other Mogo employees to ensure prospective customers are served in the most convenient and professional way.
    • Ensure that KYC, fraud check, and credit risk procedures are followed correctly.
    • Attend different events e.g Marketing & Sales Activations, Car Bazaar to create brand awareness and acquire new contacts.
    • In case of necessity – substitute Branch Loan Sales Manager to provide a nonstop branch sales. 
    • Any other duties that may be assigned

    Legal Assistant

    What you will do:

    • Assist in negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts, leases and other legal instruments entered into by the Company and third parties and ensuring that they are in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in provision of advice on the legal aspects of day-to-day operational matters affecting the Company and legal opinions and interpretations on various legal matters as required including interpretation of court and arbitral rulings affecting the Company.
    • Assist in reviewing ongoing cases filed by and against the Company.
    • Assist in reviewing progress of outstanding litigation and liaising with and managing external lawyer on all matters litigation and attending court as and when required.
    • Preparation of reports and schedules on litigation, contracts and regulatory matters.
    • Assist in continuously monitoring developments in relevant laws, compliance with statutory obligations and conducting legal research to enhance service delivery and advise to management accordingly.
    • Assist in reviewing all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assessing legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.
    •  Assist in reviewing and advising management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
    • Assist in conducting trainings for staff on emerging issues across the Company or areas of need to improve the Company’s processes.
    • Assist in handling correspondence, acknowledgement of receipt of service of the court process on behalf of the Company.

    What you will need:

    • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
    • Completion of Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law and has undertaken pupillage.
    • At least one year experience in the provision of legal services in a reputable law firm or the legal department of a leading corporate institution.

    Practice Lead for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Design and implement cost center structure across the organization  
    • Design and oversee the budgeting, forecast and projections alongside alignment and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department 
    • Establish a comprehensive reporting framework and key financial metrics to provide actionable insights and accurate decision making 
    • Initiate cross-functional initiatives to integrate financial planning into decision-making processes and to address risks and problems identified and/or to improve operations (e.g. inventory management)
    • Identify, report and assess financial risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies
    • Support business teams with relevant data analyses to identify areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization opportunities

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years leading an FP&A team
    • Proven experience in building financial processes and structures in a rapidly growing organization
    • Proven experience in business partnering, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills 
    • Commercial awareness and business acumen
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) are a plus
