The purpose of this role is to ensure that services are offered to customers in an efficient, prompt, and courteous manner, while supporting basic underwriting activities in consultation with the Branch Underwriter, to maintain customer goodwill and uphold the excellent image of Pacis Insurance Company. The role ensures strict adherence to Company’s policies, procedures, underwriting guidelines, and internal controls at the Branch level.
The jobholder is responsible for ensuring property inspections and valuations are conducted with high standard and factual and company is able to use reliable information for risk assessment and underwriting profitable business.
The Tax Accountant is responsible for managing the Company’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities, including strategic advice on insurance-specific tax implications (e.g., VAT on premiums, stamp duties, and reinsurance withholding taxes). The tax accountant will ensure that the company meets all statutory requirements and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to minimize tax risks and optimize tax efficiencies. They will ensure statutory compliance while identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and support business growth through forward-looking tax strategies.
