    Secretary

    The Opportunity

    Reporting to the Internal Services Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative functions such as raising invoices, formatting and binding financial statements, preparing outgoing letters and assisting in reception duties.  

    Responsibilities

    • CRM Support; Client onboarding and management, training, handholding end users, resolving and escalating stucks.
    • Assisting project leaders on new and evolving digital transformations and compliance processes through internal policy guidance and admin compliance from inception to deployment. i.e. Pilot tests, review, roll out, implementation and troubleshooting.
    • Typing all firm-related letters and other correspondence, as required.
    • Raising invoices, in sequential order, for approval and raising credit notes when required.
    • Formatting of financial statements and other documents.
    • Manage and update meeting room calendar ensuring efficient scheduling and availability.
    • Attending to partners’ requests.
    • Assisting with reception duties, as and when required, including handling all outgoing and incoming telephones, visitors, attending to all incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining mail inward and outward registers.
    • Collaborate with business units to provide required support.
    • Carrying out any other duties as may be delegated from time-to-time.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
    • Certificate in a secretarial course will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
    • Prior experience in an accounting, law, or corporate firm will be an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access, with demonstrated ability to conduct internet-based research.

    Transaction Advisory Manager

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Transaction Advisory Manager to lead and deliver high-impact advisory engagements across business valuation, corporate restructuring, and financial consulting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Consulting Partner, playing a key role in driving client value, developing talent, and supporting the growth of the consulting practice.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead, manage, and oversee complex engagements in business valuation, financial due diligence, corporate restructuring, and transaction advisory, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
    • Review and provide strategic direction on financial analysis, valuation models, due diligence findings, and restructuring frameworks to support client decision-making.
    • Ensure the preparation, review, and delivery of high-quality client deliverables, including valuation reports, transaction advisory reports, restructuring plans, and strategic recommendations.
    • Manage engagement economics, including budgeting, resourcing, timelines, and risk management.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop senior consultants and junior team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career guidance.
    • Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality controls across all engagements.
    • Actively contribute to business development, including proposal development, pitch presentations, thought leadership, and expansion of client relationships.
    • Collaborate effectively within a multicultural and cross-functional team environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
    • Support the Consulting Partner in shaping service offerings, improving methodologies, and strengthening market presence.Qualifications and Experience
    • ACCA or CPA (K) certification is mandatory.
    • CFA designation is a strong advantage.
    • Minimum 3 years of prior experience in accounting or audit, preferably within a professional services firm.
    • At least 5–7 years of experience in transaction advisory, including business valuation, corporate restructuring, and financial consulting.
    • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects and leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools; data analytics expertise is an added advantage.
    • Proven project management and client-facing experience, including proposal writing and business development support.
    • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within diverse teams.
    • Experience working in a multicultural and dynamic environment.

    Risk Advisory Associate

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consulting Associate, to join our risk advisory team, supporting the delivery of risk consulting services to clients across Kenya and East Africa.  The successful candidate will be reporting to the Consulting Senior.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in conducting risk assessments, internal audits, investigative & forensic audits, business processes reviews, data analytics, and compliance reviews;
    • Carry out fieldwork as planned within specified timelines to assess control design adequacy, effectiveness and any deficiencies;
    • Ensure proper evidence documentation and recommend actions for improvement and process enhancements;
    • Support in preparing client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and audit observations;
    • Perform follow-up audit to ensure agreed controls have been implemented satisfactorily;
    • Conduct research on industry-specific risks, regulatory requirements, and best practices;
    • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern
    • Assist in developing risk and control matrices and audit programs;
    • Work collaboratively with team members across multiple engagements;
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality work within deadlines;
    • Seek feedback and actively participate in training and development initiatives; and
    • Carrying out any other tasks as delegated by the firm from time-to-time.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Certifications preferred – ACCA or CPA(K) – ongoing or completed. CIA, CISA are added advantages.
    • Candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Work experience in audit is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Kenyan regulatory frameworks is desirable.
    • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
