    Senior Manager (Community Development & Resource Mobilization)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources from diverse sources, including foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual donors.
    • Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential donors.
    • Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, reports, and other required documentation.
    • Manage grant portfolios, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and timely reporting.
    • Track and analyze fundraising performance to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and implement community development strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
    • Build strong partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
    • Conduct community needs assessments and develop project proposals.
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of community development programs.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and community leaders.
    • Represent the organization at relevant forums, conferences, and public events.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations on the organization’s work and impact.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
    • Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in community development, with a strong focus on fundraising and grant management.
    • Prior experience working with NGOs or development organizations is an added advantage
    • Proven track record of successful grant acquisition and management and strong understanding of the Kenyan development context and donor landscape.
    • Excellent proposal writing, communication, and interpersonal skills and demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
    • Passion for community development and social impact.

    Finance Manager (Hotel)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information on all the company business lines.
    • Supervise and perform month end -end closing and ensuring management reports are processed on time.
    • Enforces, documents and establishes effective controls for all revenues, expenses and protection of assets.
    • Co-ordinates and assists department heads in the preparation and implementation of the hotel’s annual business plan.
    • Controls capital and FF&E expenditure to ensure compliance with justifications and approvals.
    • Directs and manages the cost control, payables and receivables/income audit functions ensuring effective systems are in place.
    • Managing both external and internal audit process and providing documentation required, while coordinating with the team to ensure information access is smooth.
    • Coordinate and manage routine tax audits from time to time to ensure the organization is not exposed to inherent tax risks and liabilities.
    • Review payroll computation and ensure that payroll journals are correctly posted in the system and process statutory payments.
    • Ensuring legislation is followed regarding taxes, licenses, Tourist Fund, NEMA and VAT.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be Proficient in using accounting systems, General Accounting skills and Computer skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Confident and outspoken.
    • Team player with leadership skills.
