  • Thika Technical Training Institute is a Government Technical Training institute established under the Ministry of  Education, State Department for Vocational and Technical Training via certificate number MOHEST/GC/1459/011A. It stands at 45 acres of land. Its history dates back to 1949 when it was started as a vocational training center for former World War ll servicemen which was then elevated to technical high school where primary graduates were admitted for secondary education with a technical bias.

    Accountant I - 2 Posts

    TTTI/BoG/ACC/01/02/2024

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option) or its equivalent
    • Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (K) Examination or its approved equivalent qualification.
    • Computer Literate
    • Knowledge of PFM Act
    • Knowledge in IPSAS reporting standards will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge in ERP operation
    • Registered with Institute Public Accountants (ICPAK) Kenya and a member in good standing
    • At least 4 years’ working experience in financial data processing and reporting

    Internal Auditor I

    TTTI/BoG/I. A/02/02/2024

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance or Accounting), Business Administration,
    • Economics, Or its equivalent
    • CPA -K
    • Registered with Institute Public Accountants (ICPAK) Kenya, Internal Auditors IIA (Kenya Chapter) and a member in good standing.
    • Computer Literate
    • Knowledge of ERP
    • 4 years’ work experience in a similar or related position
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, law and regulations will be an added advantage

    Mechanical Engineering Technician Plant

    TTTI/BoG/MET/03/02/2024

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Plant Option
    • Mechanical Engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning will be an added advantage
    • At least 3 years` experience.
    • Those who have experience in a learning Institution is an added advantage
