    Cost Controller

    Key Responsibilities

    • Track and record all project costs, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
    • Analyse cost data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
    • Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts to predict future expenditures.
    • Provide recommendations for cost optimization
    • Prepare variance analysis reports to explain deviations from the budget.
    • Work closely with project managers, project coordinators, and the finance team to align cost control efforts with project objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of construction cost control principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and construction management software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labour costs.

    Draughtsman

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical CAD drawings, plans and schematics based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, and project managers.
    • Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from project, development teams and regulatory authorities.
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure precision in all drawings.
    • Communicate effectively with project teams to clarify design specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation of documentation for project approvals and permits.
    • Address and resolve any technical issues related to drawings during construction.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
    • Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
    • Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
    • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
