    Officers Club Manager

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Officers Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Officers Club, ensuring compliance with safety standards, staff training, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Managing all aspects of the Officers Club operations, including food and beverage services, customer relations, and event coordination.
    • Leading, supervising, and training club staff to ensure compliance with customer service standards equivalent to the Navy’s MWR Star Service, Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations (AECR) program.
    • Maintaining full compliance with CNICINST 1710.3 - Chapter 1, Section 114 regarding the handling, storage, and use of hazardous materials within the facility.
    • Ensuring all club personnel complete current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
    • Monitoring and enforcing high standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all areas of the club.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • At least two (2) years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage management, or facility operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
    • Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification before employment begins.
    • Completion of or willingness to complete customer service training equivalent to the Navy’s MWR Star Service, AECR course.
    • Training or ability to obtain training in the proper handling, storage, and management of hazardous materials, in compliance with CNICINST 1710.3, Chapter 1, Section 114.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proven ability to oversee and manage food and beverage services in compliance with safety and health regulations.
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

    MWR Property Control Specialist

    Job Responsibilities

    • The MWR Property Control Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining property accounting records for all Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) programs. This position ensures compliance with Navy property management policies, tracks assets effectively, and reconciles property records to maintain audit readiness. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Property Accounting:

    • Providing property accounting services for all MWR programs while maintaining accurate records per Navy policies and procedures.
    • Reconciling subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger monthly for fixed assets, minor property, expendable property, and other assets.
    • Maintaining a general ledger or consolidated property record for minor and expendable property, ensuring reconciliation with subsidiary ledgers.

    Asset Tagging and Tracking:

    • Assigning and attaching a unique property number to each fixed asset, vehicle, furniture, fixture, equipment, minor property, and expendable asset.
    • Ensuring property numbers are visible on all assets and maintaining a centralized control record of assigned property numbers.

    Record Maintenance and Depreciation:

    • Maintaining Property and Depreciation Records using NAVCOMPT Form 742 and Custody Records (NAVCOMPT Form 744 or 745) or computer-generated reports, as required.
    • Preparing and updating records for property acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation schedules in compliance with Navy standards.

    Reporting and Compliance:

    • Providing monthly and annual property control reports to ensure compliance with Navy property management directives.
    • Supporting audit readiness by ensuring all property records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with applicable policies.

    Minimum Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 2-4 years of experience in property control, asset management, or related accounting roles.
    • Knowledge of property accounting practices, including subsidiary ledgers, general ledgers, and asset reconciliation.
    • Familiarity with NAVCOMPT Form 742, NAVCOMPT Form 744/745, and other Navy property management records or systems.
    • Proficiency with property tracking, tagging, and inventory in compliance with government or military standards.
    • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills to maintain accurate accounting and property control records.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced knowledge of asset depreciation schedules and audit preparation.

    Public Works Director / Chief Engineer

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the Public Works Department, ensuring the efficient functioning and maintenance of utility systems, facilities, roads, and public infrastructure.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams of technicians, engineers, and other personnel, ideally in public works or a government contracting environment.

    MSC Riding Gang Administrative Specialist

    Job Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary administrative and coordination point for MSC Riding Gang personnel supporting maintenance and repair activities aboard MSC vessels.

    HAZMAT / HAZWASTE Handler / Shipper

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    The HAZMAT / HAZWASTE Handler / Shipper is responsible for the safe and compliant management, handling, packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials (HM), hazardous waste (HW), other regulated waste (ORW), and medical waste. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Completing the collection, packaging, transportation, and shipping of hazardous materials (HM), hazardous waste (HW), and excess HM in compliance with applicable standards, including the Diego Garcia Final Governing Standards (DGFGS) and the Contractor’s accepted Discarded HM/HW/ORW Management Implementation Plan.
    • Assisting in the management and operation of the Hazardous Waste Storage Area (HWSA), Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation Points (SHWAPs), and the Hazardous Material Minimization (HAZMIN) Reissue Center.
    • Completing initial and annual refresher training in hazardous waste management in compliance with DGFGS, 40 CFR 265.16, and other applicable regulations.
    • Ensuring the accurate handling and disposal of HAZMAT/HAZWASTE, whether through past experience (minimum one year) or completion of the HAZMAT/HAZWASTE handling course.
    • Submitting qualifications and certifications to demonstrate compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensuring all shipments of hazardous cargo are certified in accordance with required procedures, including qualifications obtained from the Naval School of Physical Distribution Management, Oakland, CA, or the School of Military Packaging Technology, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. These certifications require biennial refresher courses and must remain current.
    • Conducting inspections of hazardous materials and waste to ensure compliance with storage, handling, packaging, and disposal safety standards.
    • Transporting hazardous waste with proper certifications and in compliance with 40 CFR 265.16 training requirements.
    • Maintaining accurate records of all hazardous material and waste management activities, including tracking waste generation, shipment, and disposal.
    • Supporting training and providing guidance to other team members on the proper handling, packaging, and disposal of hazardous materials.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • At least five (5) years of experience in the collection, transportation, shipping, and disposal of hazardous waste (HW), hazardous material (HM), and other regulated waste (ORW).
    • At least five (5) years of documented experience operating hazardous material or waste facilities such as HWSA, SHWAPs, or the HAZMIN Reissue Center.
    • Qualification to certify outgoing shipments of hazardous cargo, obtained through training at the Naval School of Physical Distribution Management, Oakland, CA, or the School of Military Packaging Technology, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
    • Qualification is valid for two years and must be maintained through biennial refresher training.
    • Training in compliance with 40 CFR 265.16 for personnel transporting hazardous waste.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must complete the HAZMAT/HAZWASTE Handling course or have a minimum of one year of experience working with hazardous materials or waste.
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Automotive Fabrication Technician

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles that have been in accidents.
    • Fabricate body parts and brackets out of aluminum and steel.
    • Work with the body/paint technician to bring the vehicle to like new condition.
    • Assist management in estimating damages and writing the accident quote.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • 3 years in welding/fabrication in the fabrication and body welding or automotive/truck repair business

    • Valid country driver's license.

    Physical requirements
