About the Role
- Seeking a Logistics and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) Coordinator with 2-3 years' experience in distribution and/or carbon markets and/or MRV to lead the distribution of biochar and manage the MRV program.
Responsibilities
DMRV Program Leadership
- Design, implement, and manage the facility's dMRV system, covering feedstock inputs, production outputs, quality measurements, and carbon sequestration calculations
- Ensure data collection processes across all shifts are accurate, consistent, and traceable to applicable carbon standards (e.g., Puro.earth, EBC, IBI, or other relevant frameworks)
- Oversee and support the Lab/Quality Technicians in their data recording responsibilities to ensure dMRV-grade data quality
- Prepare and submit periodic monitoring reports, verification reports, and audit-ready documentation for carbon credit issuance
- Liaise with third-party verifiers, auditors, and certification bodies during verification cycles
- Develop and maintain data management systems, dashboards, and reporting templates for dMRV purposes
- Train all relevant staff on dMRV data recording requirements and the importance of data integrity
- Stay current on evolving carbon standards, methodology requirements, and dMRV best practices in the biochar sector
- Contribute towards process improvement with Production and Logistics stakeholders
Distribution Logistics Coordination
- Own the end-to-end forecasting process that translates production output into logistics requirements for Soko Logistics, including expected truck volume, required capacity, and resource preparation needed ahead of each distribution cycle
- Lead a standing weekly planning sync with the Soko Logistics Manager to review the upcoming week's distribution forecast and confirm operational readiness before the week begins
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact between Biochar production and Soko Logistics, driving alignment on schedules, volumes, and delivery execution
- Plan and adjust delivery schedules in coordination with the Production Coordinator based on production output and farmer demand
- Manage delivery records and customer order tracking
- Resolve delivery issues and escalate systemic problems to the Soko Logistics Manager and Biochar Lead (as appropriate)
Farmer Engagement and Training
- Develop and maintain training materials for Asili field staff on correct biochar application methods and evidence collection requirements
- Deliver refresher training to Asili field teams at the start of each season
- Collect and consolidate farmer feedback from Asili channels
- Lead first-line grievance resolution and escalate unresolved issues to the Lead
Performance Tracking
- Track distribution KPIs including delivery completion, on-time performance, and MRV documentation completeness
- Track end-to-end MRV completeness across feedstock, production, quality, and end-use streams
- Report distribution and MRV performance to the Lead monthly

About the Role
- Operates and monitors a designated stage of the pyrolysis production process; feedstock feeding and drying, core carbonization, or biochar discharge and cooling.
Responsibilities
Feeder and Dryer Stage
- Load feedstock into the feed system at the correct rate
- Monitor and control the drying system to maintain target moisture levels
- Ensure a consistent and uninterrupted feed to the carbonizer
Carbonizer Stage
- Monitor and control pyrolysis temperatures, airflow, and combustion conditions
- Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal and stable operation
- Respond immediately to process deviations
Discharge and Cooling Stage
- Monitor and control the cooling system
- Maintain consistent biochar product flow from the discharge point to storage or packaging
- Detect and clear blockages safely and promptly
All Stages
- Record process data, readings, and observations in the shift log at defined intervals
- All stages: Report equipment faults, unusual readings, or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor immediately
- Perform equipment pre-checks at shift start and assist with start-up, shutdown, and cleaning procedures
- Follow all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) hazard awareness protocols at the assigned workstation throughout the shift
Other
- Support the Maintenance Officer during equipment stoppages or cleaning related to the assigned process stage

- Seeking an Administration Supervisor with 3+ years' manufacturing or industrial experience to manage office operations, casual labour contracting, and utility documentation for a biochar facility.
Responsibilities
Office and Records Management
- Manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, equipment, and a clean and organized workspace
- Maintain accurate records of administrative activities including employee files, invoices, and operational documentation
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications including phone calls, emails, and correspondence

Casual Labor Administration
- Own casual labor contracting for the Biochar facility, ensuring sufficient casuals required for production at any given time
