    Credit Risk Analyst

    Join Bidii Credit as a Credit Risk Analyst to safeguard our loan portfolio and drive sustainable financial growth across our Kenyan branches. We are seeking a diligent Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate credit applications, monitor portfolio performance, and implement robust risk mitigation strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our branch network and executive team to balance lending outreach with sound financial prudence, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in Kenya's dynamic financial sector.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or underwriting within the banking or microfinance sector in Kenya.
    • Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools and financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, or Python).
    • Deep understanding of Kenyan financial regulations, CBK guidelines, and microfinance lending practices.
    • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse branch teams and stakeholders.
    • Professional certifications such as CPA (K), ACCA, or CIFA are an added advantage.
    • Willingness to travel periodically to Bidii Credit branches across the country for risk audits and training.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze credit data and financial statements of loan applicants to assess creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
    • Review and evaluate high-value or complex loan applications in accordance with Bidii Credit's risk policies.
    • Monitor the overall credit portfolio performance and identify emerging trends, concentrations, or potential defaults.
    • Develop, test, and refine credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks tailored to the Kenyan lending market.
    • Conduct regular portfolio audits across various branches to ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare comprehensive risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the credit committee.
    • Collaborate with the collections and recovery teams to formulate strategies for managing non-performing loans (NPLs).

    Loan Officers

    Reporting to the sales team leader, sales executive is primarily responsible for sales and marketing of our loan products to deliver assigned targets. Successful candidate will be posted to any of our branches.

    Requirements

    • Certificate or diploma in Business Management

    Branch Debt Collection Officer

You will work closely with branch teams to implement effective debt recovery strategies, negotiate repayment plans, and uphold our commitment to professional and ethical customer engagement.     Requirements

    • Education: Diploma/Degree in Business Management or a related field.
    • Experience: 2–3 years’ experience in field debt collection and recovery.
    • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, customer engagement, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Performance: Target-driven, resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently under pressure.
    • Field Knowledge: Good knowledge of the assigned branch/territory.
    • Technology: Basic ability to use mobile/CRM systems to record field activities and update customer accounts.
    • Key Role: Recover outstanding debts by engaging customers, negotiating repayment arrangements, and consistently converting arrears into repayments.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and recover delinquent accounts within the assigned branch/territory.
    • Contact and conduct field visits to customers and guarantors to negotiate repayments.
    • Meet monthly collections targets and manage accounts by aging and risk.
    • Negotiate repayment plans and coordinate asset repossession/recovery where required.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records and collections reports
    • Escalate high-risk accounts and ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines.
