    HR Business Partner(HRBP)

    Role Overview

    • As an HRBP Apprentice, you will be embedded directly within business operations. You will work alongside senior HR leaders to align talent strategies with business goals, analyze workforce data, manage employee relations, and drive organizational performance.
    • This program is a career accelerator meant to bridge the gap between academic theory (CHRP) and high-impact corporate reality.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Business Partnering & Advisory

    • Shadow Senior HRBPs in departmental meetings to understand commercial objectives and translate them into talent solutions.
    • Assist in diagnosing team performance gaps and proposing structural or training interventions.
    • Support line managers in interpreting HR policies and local employment laws.

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating complex grievances appropriately.
    • Coordinate employee engagement surveys, participate in data analysis, and help implement action plans to boost workplace morale.
    • Assist in managing disciplinary and grievance processes in strict compliance with Kenyan labor laws.

    Talent Management & Development

    • Support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for specific business portfolios, focusing on quality-of-hire and cultural fit.
    • Assist in the execution of performance management cycles, ensuring KPIs are tracked and performance improvement plans (PIPs) are documented.
    • Identify learning needs within teams and coordinate with CDL Academy’s training arm to deploy solutions.

    HR Analytics, Compliance & Reporting

    • Maintain clean, up-to-date employee records and track key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire, and absenteeism).
    • Generate weekly and monthly HR dashboards to help business units make data-backed people decisions.
    • Audit operational practices to ensure absolute compliance with the Employment Act of Kenya (2007) and IHRM standards.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related commercial field.
    • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in a fast-paced HR environment.
    • Professional Certification: CHRP certification (fully qualified or tracking towards completion).
    • Professional Membership: Active and valid registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya.

    Revenue Assistant(Airbnb and Booking.com)

    Role Overview

    • The Revenue Assistant is responsible for maximising occupancy and revenue through data-driven pricing strategies and effective platform management across Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs.The role involves setting and adjusting prices, monitoring listing performance, analysing market trends, and ensuring all listings are accurate, optimised, and competitive. The role will also improve listing ranking by tracking impressions and conversions, managing availability, and supporting promotional campaigns. It contributes to income tracking, identifies opportunities to monetise listings further, and collaborates closely with internal teams to achieve the company’s overall revenue and occupancy goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    Pricing & Revenue Management

    • Set daily/weekly/monthly prices based on demand, seasonality, market trends, and competitor benchmarking.
    • Implement dynamic pricing strategies across all units.
    • Adjust minimum stays, restrictions, and promotions (e.g. Genius, last-minute, early-bird discounts, custom promotions).
    • Manage occupancy goals and revenue targets across all booking platforms.

    Listing Optimisation (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.)

    • Improve listing ranking by optimising:
    • Titles, descriptions, and photos
    • Amenities and policies
    • Review responses
    • Ensure availability calendars are perfectly synced across all platforms.

    Performance Monitoring & Market Analysis

    • Track and report on key metrics including impressions, CTR, conversion rate, booking trends,RevPAR, and occupancy percentages.
    • Identify underperforming listings and provide actionable solutions.
    • Monitor competitor rates in real time.
    • Analyse local occupancy trends, events, holidays, and seasonal patterns.
    • Conduct monthly benchmarking reports.

    Cross-Team Collaboration

    • Work with the reservations team to adjust prices based on demand patterns.
    • Make recommendations to management on portfolio improvement and revenue opportunities.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in revenue management, OTA management, or hotel reservations.
    • Background in data analysis or operations is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of Airbnb and Booking.com analytics (impressions, ranking, pricing algorithms).
    • Knowledge of dynamic pricing tools such as PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing is an added advantage.
    • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
    • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail — pricing errors and missed updates directly impact revenue.
    • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.
    • Proactive mindset — able to identify issues and act on them before they escalate.

    Added Advantage

    • Experience in hospitality (hotels, serviced apartments, or Airbnb portfolio management).
    • Experience using channel managers such as Hostaway, Cloudbeds, or SiteMinder.
    • Digital marketing knowledge including Google Trends and SEO for listings.

    Lead Internal Auditor

    Job Summary:

    • The Lead Internal Auditor is responsible for leading audit engagements and ensuring that the organization complies with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating with various departments, evaluating internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Planning and Preparation:

    • Develop audit plans, including scope, objectives, and timelines.
    • Conduct preliminary risk assessments and gather relevant background information.
    • Coordinate with management and other stakeholders to schedule audit activities.

    Audit Execution:

    • Lead and supervise the audit team during fieldwork.
    • Conduct detailed testing of internal controls, processes, and transactions.
    • Identify and document audit findings, including areas of non-compliance and potential risks.

    • Professional qualification : Certified Public Accountant CPA-K/ ACCA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
    • Membership of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or Information Systems Audit (ISA) will be an added advantage
    • Experience : Minimum Five (5) Years experience in Internal Audit.
    • Functional Skills: Hands on experience in auditing through Computerized Systems, knowledge of ERP. Proficient in word/ excel.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
