    Accounts Sales Officer

    Responsibilities for the Accounts Sales Officer 

    • Responsible for proactively developing business relationships and securing additional business opportunities from both new and existing clients.
    • Sales – generate sales revenue for a portfolio of accounts as per the company policy.
    • Account Management – create and develop relationships with key and targeted accounts to maximize turnover and profit.
    • Report – weekly reports to the management on the latest market developments, competitor’s trends and market intelligence.

    Key Performance Measure

    Revenues (focus on gross profit margin)
    Size of portfolio
    Processes and systems
    Team satisfaction

    Qualifications for the Accounts Sales Officer Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Business Management.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience with solicitation and direct client contact.
    • Proven track record of delivering business growth.
    • Must have successful Key Account Management experience.
    • Personal skills and attributes required
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

    Regional Sales Agronomist

    Responsibilities for the Regional Sales Agronomist Job

    • Responsible for supervising the day to day running of the regions sales, staff maximization to ensure the efficient delivery of its operations.
    • Strategy formulation – participate in annual planning and quarterly review of strategy
    • Recruitment of contractors – interviewing, selection, on-boarding and exit of the team in line with company policies and procedures.
    • Daily operations management – Set work schedule and ensure they are followed including on ground support where necessary as per agreed strategy.
    • Reporting – Daily reports to immediate supervisor including three days of monthly status workshop at the head office.
    • Training – periodic training of contractors with the focus on agronomy and sales skills.
    • Customer complaint management – on ground support for customer complaint about product use and efficacy.
    • Relationship Management & company representation – maintain stakeholder relationship within respective territory.

    • Customer acquisition and maintenance metrics

    Qualifications for the Sales Agronomist Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
    • Must have dealt with agrochemicals and fertilizer sales in farms.
    • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
    • SAP experience preferred
    • Willing to travel widely throughout Kenya
    • Personal skills and attributes required
    • Communication, sales, and customer service skills.
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi‐task and work under pressure
    • Strong coaching and performance management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

    Marketing & Communications Officer

    Responsibilities for the Marketing & Communications Officer Job

    • Providing, facilitating relevant and timely information that convey company’s message to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage company brand and reputation – Ensure that the public views the organization favorably by developing branding initiatives to enhance external communication with the stakeholders

    Qualifications for the Marketing & Communication Officer Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, graduate degrees preferred.
    • 3+ year’s relevant experience including extensive experience in marketing, communications and advertising.
    • At least 1 years’ experience in online communication and website content management.
    • Computer Literacy
    • Personal skills and attributes required
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Sharp knowledge of market trends
    • Good public image and personality
