Cook Internship Duties

• The position is responsible in assisting all duties in the Kitchen department including preparing and serving food; verifying quality of food and supplies; and maintaining kitchen and other related facilities in a hygienic and safe condition.

Requirements for the Cook Internship

• The Attachee will be required to have a diploma in Food production from a recognized established culinary training educational institute

The trainees will be responsible for contributing to overall guests’ satisfaction by ensuring that all the food and beverages ordered by Members/guests are served correctly as per the laid down standard procedures.

Qualifications for the Waiter/Waitress Internship

• S/he will also be charged assisting with ensuring Restaurant areas are clean, tidy and set up.

• S/he should have relevant certificate especially in Food Service or restaurant management.

• S/he must be proactive, organized, have excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency with high energy levels.

• S/he must be presentable, possess interpersonal skills, flexible and possess relevant computer applications

Qualifications for the Administration Internship

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration or any other related field

• 1 year experience in a commercial environment

• Experience in handling corporate clients

• Fundraising and sponsorship is essential

• Excellent knowledge of Ms office suite

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and record management

• High levels of integrity and an eye for detail

• Golf administration experience will be an added advantage

Administration Internship Administration Responsibilities

• Handle all correspondence relating to the Golf Office

• Responsible for the office for the purpose of answering to members needs and telephone queries and to ensure that at least one member of Staff is in attendance at all times

• Assist in maintaining good relationship with the Professional’s shop and staff, to ensure timely and accurate information is provided regarding tee closures. Post Entries, Green Fee Rates, Caddy Fees and score card preparation

Qualifications for the Finance Internship

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• At least a B (plain) in KCSE.

• At least CPA 2

• At least 1 year work experience in the related field, especially so with Accounts Payable & Receivables in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.

• Should be conversant with Quick books/Sage/ Pastel Accounting packages. Experience with an ERP will be an added advantage.

• Should have corporate culture adaptability

• Strong communications skills both oral and written.

Finance Internship Responsibilities / Duties

• Ensure purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched.

• Preparation of suppliers’ statements and management accounts.

• Costing of the end-product in relation to the current market demand.

• Posting of journal entries and filing of accounts documents.

• Ensuring compliance of standard procedures.

• Any other duties as assigned.

• Participate in the overall finance department objectives.

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and business customers.
