    Finance & Administration Director

    Responsibilities for the Finance & Administration Director Job

    • The Director of F&A will oversee operations for all activity offices in Kenya. This includes oversight of procurement, grants, construction, logistics, human resources, accounting and finance, and records.
    • This individual will be responsible for managing the contract budget and preparing financial reports for submission to USAID.
    • S/he will ensure funds expended are compliant with USG regulations and policies.
    • He/she will implement fraud mitigation practices and ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the award.
    • To qualify the candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field relevant to the position requirements.
    • He/she must have at least eight (8) years of experience in financial management for large complex projects, of which at least five years were working in the field of international development.
    • S/he must demonstrate professional level of oral and written fluency in English language.

    Health Advisor

    Responsibilities for the Health Advisor Job

    • The HSS Advisor will report to the COP and will be responsible for activities around “Objective 6” and support to the health sector as a whole, including county governance and strategic planning and Human Resources for Health (HRH), and other areas as desired.
    • This position ensures a seamless link between service delivery interventions and county capacity for systems development.
    • S/he will be knowledgeable with the issues around devolution and the functions and organization of the county government, particularly the county health management teams and their capacity gaps.

    Qualifications for the Health Advisor Job

    • To qualify the candidate must possess A Master’s degree in health policy and administration, health sector development, public health or related field.
    • S/he must have a minimum seven (7) years of relevant, seniorlevel professional experience managing and implementing health systems strengthening programs in the areas of health policy and administration, health sector development, public health with a minimum of (5) years’ experience in subSaharan Africa, Kenya experience preferred.
    • He/she has demonstrated five (5) years’ experience in managing and supervising health systems activities and teams.
    • S/he has demonstrated ability to work effectively with government representatives, forprofit private sector entities, local community organizations, donors and other stakeholders, particularly at the subnational level.
    • S/he must demonstrate professional level of oral and written fluency in English language

    Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

    Monitoring and Evaluation Job Responsibilities

    • The M&E Specialist will report to the COP or DCOP and will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the activity monitoring and evaluation framework and information system to track delivery against targets, outcomes and impacts.
    • S/he will lead analysis of data collected for assessment of progress and areas of improvement.
    • S/he will guide reporting processes amongst technical staff and consolidates program reports, promote learning and knowledge sharing of best practices and lessons learnt.
    • S/he will support all the technical staff in M&E functions and will manage any M&E related staff in the program.

    Qualifications for the Monitoring & Evaluation Job

    • To qualify the candidate must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as public health, mathematics, business, statistics, or international relations.
    • S/he must have at least seven (7) years of experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluating activities for complex programs in developing countries.
    • S/he has a firm command of the M&E issues with respect to improvements in quality integrated service and support programs. He/she has demonstrated experience in setting up and managing M&E systems that track performance as per the objectives of this project (e.g. service integration, performance against each funding stream).
    • S/he has demonstrated analytical skills to measure the outcomes of the project’s activities and support project supervision.
    • He/she must possess strong writing and organizational skills for monitoring and reporting on program and program outcomes and impacts.
    • S/he must demonstrate professional level of oral and written fluency in English language.
