    Assistant Internal Audit

    Responsibilities for the Assistant Manager Internal Audit

    • Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
    • developing and reviewing operational and management systems, policies and guidelines;
    • Developing and implementing risk assessment framework;
    • Developing and reviewing audit techniques and procedures;
    • Developing and reviewing internal controls;
    • Developing audit plans, setting targets and budgets;
    • Compiling periodic management audit reports;
    • Preparing and submitting audit reports to the Board Audit Committee; and
    • Reporting on implementation of annual audit work plans to the Board Audit Committee.

    Requirements for the Assistant Internal Audit Job

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-

    • Have served in a comparable position for a minimum period of ten (10) years, three of which must have been at a managerial level in Auditing; have bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Commerce (Accounting option); Commerce (Finance option); Business Administration (Accounting option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Have masters degree in any of the following disciplines:- Business Administration (Finance); Business Administration (Accounting);
    • Master of Science in Finance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; have Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or Part III of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Be a Certified Information System Auditors (C.I.S.A) from a recognized institution;
    • Certificate in Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a
      recognized institution; and have Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;

    Senior Legal Officer

    Responsibilities for  Senior Legal Officer Job

    • Preparing and reviewing legal documents/instruments;
    • Preparing legal opinions and preparing legal briefs;
    • Drafting legal documents, leases and contracts;
    • Undertaking research on specific legal areas;
    • Identifying issues and areas for legal policy formulation and review;
    • Ensuring compliance with the policy, legal requirements
    • Advising the Agency on all legal matter.; and
    • Presenting anti-doping cases at the Sports Disputes Tribunal on behalf of the CEO.

    Requirements for the Senior Legal Officer Job

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-

    • Have served in a comparable position for a minimum period of four (4) years;
    • Have Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution;
    • Have a valid Practicing Certificate from Law Society of Kenya;
    • Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
    • Have Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;
    • Excellent communications kills ; and
    • Have Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.

    Assistant Legal Manager

    Responsibilities for the Assistant Manager Job

    • providing guidance to the Board on their duties and responsibilities and on matters of governance;
      assisting the Board in carrying out Board induction and training, updating the Board and Committee charters,
    • preparation of Board work plans, Board evaluation,
    • Governance Audit and Implementation of the code of conduct and ethics;
    • ensuring timely preparation and circulation of Board and Committee papers;
    • ensure timely circulation of Board and Committee minutes; be the custodian of the seal of the Organization and account to the Board for its use;
    • maintaining and updating the register of conflicts of interest;

    Requirements for the Legal Manager Job

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-

    • Have served in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of ten (10) years, three (3) of which must have been at a managerial level in litigation;
    • Have Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution;
    • Have Masters degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Have a valid Practicing Certificate from Law Society of Kenya;
    • Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
    • Have Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;
    • Certificate in Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; have
    • Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution; and meet the requirements of
    • Chapter 6 of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity.

    ICT Officer

    Responsibilities for the ICT Officer Job

    This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

    • Configuring and maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
    • Carrying out systems analysis, design and programme specifications in liaison with users;
    • Drawing up hardware specifications for Information Communication Technology# equipment;
    • Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, implementing computer programs;
    • Maintaining a high degree of user service for all support queries and adhere to all ICT service management principles;
    • Providing technical ICT support to users;
    • Designing, setting-up and configuring ICT systems and network systems;
    • Developing, installing and testing ICT systems, networks and upgrades;

    Requirements for the  ICT Officer Job

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

    • Bachelors in any of the following disciplines:- Computer Science; Information Science;
    • Information Technology; Business Information Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized institution; and
    • Accreditation in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Cisco Certified Network
    • Administrator (CCNA) or any other equivalent qualification from recognized Institution

    Clerical Officer

    Responsibilities for the Clerical Officer Job

    • Receiving, distributing, issuing and recording files and letters;
    • Ensuring proper maintenance of efficient filing systems;
    • Collecting, distributing and issuing files to various officers;
    • Maintaining an up to date movement of files register;
    • Processing human resource statistical records;
    • Ensuring security of files and exhibits;

    Accounts Assistant

    Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant Job

    This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:-

    • Ensuring that all revenues/incomes are receipted and banked intact as per laid down procedures.
    • Carrying out bank reconciliation and ensure timely follow-ups made on any identified discrepancies
    • Ensuring proper accounting for the petty cash and effective management of imprestsystem in liaison with manager.
    • Reviewing and keying-in vendor (supplier) invoices
    • Preparing payment source documents (vouchers)
    • Writing cheques for all payments for appropriate approval.
    • Posting financial transaction into financial system and the vote book system
    • Serving as bank agent; keeps custody of cheque books, and bank statements; handles deposits (cheques and cash) in the bank.
      Preparing weekly reports (commitment reports, cash reports, cash projection reports, etc.)
    • Carrying out reconciliation of petty cash account
    • Ensuring adequate filling of payment vouchers
    • Participating in preparation of budgets
    • Perform any other task assigned by the management from time-to-time.

    Requirements for the Accounts Assistant Job

    • CPA Part I or equivalent qualification;
    • A high degree of integrity and responsibility; and
    • Computer competency.
