    HR Account Manager

    The purpose of this position is to provide HR related functions to one of our clients. This is an urgent position, and as such we would prefer a candidate who is currently unemployed.

    Roles for the HR Account Manager Job

    • Manage all the HR related functions for our client. Specific roles include:
    • Payroll management;
    • Manage safety & health programmes;
    • Handle discipline issues;
    • Supervise workers and ensure that they are productive;
    • Handle industrial relations;
    • Allocating assignments to employees;
    • Handle grievances;
    • Reward Management;
    • Training and Development; and
    • Any other duty that may be assigned.

    HR Account Manager Job Competencies

    • Degree qualification in Human Resource Management;
    • Professional training in HR will be an added advantage;
    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a busy environment;
    • Experience of communicating at all levels up to and including senior management;
    • Problem-solving and negotiation skills;
    • Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas;
    • Organizational and planning skills;
    • Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills;
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines; and

    Payroll Accountant

    Responsibilities for the Payroll Accountant Job

    • Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 600 employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
    • Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis.

    Required Qualifications for the Payroll Accountant Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any other Finance related field.
    • CPA K.
    • Three plus years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions;
    • Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
    • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

    Accountant

    Responsibilities for the Accounting Job

    • Assist in the preparation of the firm’s monthly financial statements.
    • Prepare appropriate journal entries
    • Assist in the preparation of the firm’s monthly financial statements
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

    Required Qualifications for the Accounting Job

    • CPA II
    • At least 3 years’ experience
    • With Sage and Pastel accounting software experience.
    • Knowledge in statutory procedures and deductions.
    • Must be a person of integrity
    • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters.
