    Senior House Officer

    Reporting to the Head of Outreach the successful candidates will be responsible for providing consultancy and quality clinical Judgment to patients In Ambulatory and Emergency Medicine.

    Senior House Officer Job Responsibilities

    • Assessment of patient and manage the patient case. Performance of investigative and therapeutic procedures.
    • Perform minor surgeries.
    • Re-asses and follow up patients.
    • Be a good team player and work harmoniously with colleagues. Comply with the hospital Confidentiality and privacy policies.

    Requirements for the Senior House Officer Job

    • M.B.Ch.B or equivalent from a recognized University. More than one – year working experience.
    • Must be Registered / Licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
    • Competency in emergency procedures e.g. ACLS, ATLS etc. will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent public relations and communication skills.

    • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or Kenya Registered Nurse / Midwife.
    • Basic Life Support /Advanced Cardiac Life Support /Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics certificate and other unit specific certification requirements.
    • At least one year experience In a Medical / Surgical setting in a busy medical Institution.
    • Valid Kenyan nursing practice license.
    • Working knowledge of a hospital Management Information System.

    Pharmaceutical Technologist

    Pharmaceutical Technologist Job Requirements

    • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from KMTC or equivalent from a recognized institution.

    Laboratory Technologist

    Laboratory Technologist Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain relevant equipment In terms of routine maintenance, calibration and quality control.

    Requirements for the Laboratory Technologist Job

    • Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
    • Excellent knowledge of laboratory operations and procedures.
    • Knowledge and experience in hematology, biochemistry and microbiology.
    • Ability to write and review SOPs.
    • Excellent computer skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.
    • Minimum two years working experience in a busy medical laboratory.
    • Knowledge and experience in ISO 15189 Standard is desirable.
    • Possession of a Phlebotomy certificate will be an added advantage.
    • Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board with a current practice license is mandatory.

    EEG Technologist

    Under close supervision by a neurologist, the EEG technician prepares patients and performs electroencephalograph to measure impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use in diagnosis for brain disorders.

    EEG Technologist Job Responsibilities

    • Read physician’s electroencephalograph test requisition to determine the question to be answered; explain to patient the testing procedure and the need for the examination.
    • Demonstrate technical proficiency for proper set-up of long-term EEG studies Including lead placement and patient preparation.
    • Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation and demonstrate critical thinking and skills to recognize and correct artifact accordingly.
    • At the completion of all studies, edit and prepare test for reading by a neurologist, properly remove electrodes, clean patient/equipment, and document all necessary paperwork
    • Demonstrate customer service in all interactions, that is compassionate, courteous, friendly, and demonstrate respect for privacy
    • Perform other duties as directed by the supervising neurologist.

    Requirements for the EEG Technologist Job

    • Completion of specialized training in electroencephalography or related medical training, preferred
    • One 0) year of experience in an EEG lab preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, required.

    • Over six years relevant work experience three (3) of which should be in middle management.
    • Member of a recognized HR professional body.
    • Strategic leadership and management skills.
    • Complex problem solving and judgement and decision making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
    • HR metrics and analytics skills.
