Cashier Job Responsibilities

• Receive and process all payments for restaurant guests
• Handle guest complaints with follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
• Settle all guest checks in the computerized system and maintain accountability for all financial transactions.
• Compute and record totals of transactions.
• Maintain complete knowledge of point-of-sale and manual systems and procedures.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements for the Cashier Job

• Qualification in Food & Beverage Sales & Service qualification is a definite advantage
• Three (3) years prior experience in same or similar position.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests/visitors, management and colleagues.
• Ability to remain stationary at assigned position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to input and access information into the point-of-sale system.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.

Sommelier Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory, organizing and selling wine for all departments
• Oversee all wine purchases and cost management
• Oversee the wine of the month selection, introduction of new vendors, wineries, etc.
• Assist members and guests during the dinner service with wine recommendations and selection for perfect pairing with their dinner, decanting of the wine and wine service
• Develop a training program for all Team Members to improve their knowledge of wine tasting and wine service

Qualifications for the Sommelier Job

• Qualification in Food & Beverage qualification is a definite advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in specialty wine operations and beverage production
• A strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings
• Must be passionate about wine
• Must possess superior people skills
• The ability to determine wine faults and maintain proper temperatures in order to showcase products at their maximum potential.

In House DJ Job Responsibilities

• Provide music at events
• Set up and operate DJ equipment and technologies
• Select the music to be played
• Play and mix music for a live
• Perform turntable scratching
• Interact with their audience and take their requests
• Developing playlists.

Qualifications for the In House DJ Job

• Previous deejaying skills
• Knowledge of basic music theory
• Knowledge of software such as Virtual DJ Home, Traktor Pro 2 or Mixxx
• Knowledge of vinyl, turntables, and Midi controllers

Payroll Officer Job Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and capturing data
• Update payroll records by capturing changes in exemptions, allowances, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title and department/division transfers, and any other changes that may occur within the month
• Ensure that the statutory reports such as PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, NITA and HELB are submitted to the Finance department by the end of every month
• Provide payroll information when required and address any payroll related complaints that may arise
• Any other duty assigned

Qualifications for the Payroll Officer Job

• University Degree in a business related field with an emphasis in Finance/Accounting and a CPA(K) or ACCA
• Have at least 3 years working experience in Payroll.
